Depression is not getting anything done, caring about anything, wanting to do anything, not knowing what to do or what you want, and lonely in a way that is impossible to describe.

Depression is like trying to run up an escalator that is going down.

Depression is like a revolving door that goes so fast you can't get out.

Depression is like a snowball that starts an avalanche that buries you alive.

Depression is like
Having a valve open, letting the character and emotion drain slowly out of you.
Losing the will to do anything, and i literally mean anything.
Waking up and thinking "I wish i was still asleep".
Going to bed and thinking "I can't even be bothered to sleep"
Being vulnerable

That's how I've always seen it anyway.
On a similar issue, i always found that my paranoia went though the roof when I was depressed.

Depression is sometime realizing that when you feel you have mastered your depression, that that it is the first step in allowing depression to master you.

Depression is like quicksand ... it can quickly pull you under.

Depression is....

Depression is like someone took a big, round, hopeful swelling of dough and punched the rise out of it. You can't catch your breath as your chest is so full it might burst and you wonder whether you're having a heart attack or just dying of loneliness.

Depression is a deep pain taken to a level that most people will never understand. It causes cold to be colder..It causes pain to be more painful..It causes tired to be exhaustion..It causes loneliness to be
the most isolation you have ever felt..And that's just scratching the
surface..

Depression is like paying for something you have worked hard for and finding out it is not what you really thought iit was.

Depression is like a Halloween costume it disguises who you really are.

Depression is misunderstood and always labelled as an excuse. With the blind leading the blind, refusing to see what is real.

Depression is that scratching inside your head that won't leave you alone, enabling you to collect and sort the mess that is your thoughts.

Depression is part of everyday life for most people, only with varying degrees of severity.

Depression is trying so hard to progress as a person and finding out it's a losing battle.

Depression is realising that no matter what happens, you can't change some things as they are destined for other people.

Depression is hugging your pillow at night, just so there is something to cuddle up to.

Depression is bloody annoying!

Depression is like a black hole. Every where is darkness. Not even light can escape its grasp. If you get too close it will crush you.

Depression is the nameless, hulking, thing hanging over your shoulder all day every day whispering evil things about you in your ear. Depression is when you accept that.

Depession is like trying to dial-up someone and always getting a busy signal.

Depression is like being stopped at a intersection and the red light never turns green because the d*** thing is broken.

Depression is having a problem in which you get automated voice service when to really need direct service.

Depression is being ignored by the ones you love the most.
