See a doctor. If you have a regular doc you could go to them and ask if they think it's serious enough to have to go to a psychiatrist. Or you could just go right to a psychiatrist if you think you are really doing bad. Take some of the tests on this site and it will give you an idea of what level of depression you are at, but its not a substitute for going to a doctor. Are you sure you have no one to call? I have been depressed my whole life and i am still learning about it. Maybe try reading up on it some? Just get some help or it could get out of control. Hope you feel better soon.

Even though it is going to feel really hard, take action. Make an appointment with a couselor or therapist. Even a family doctor can help. As soon as the appointment is made you will start to feel more hopeful.

I'm sorry you are feeling like you are alone and have no one to talk to, Sephoxan. 'im unsure of what resources you have available to you, but I would third talking to a therapist or counselor, if you can, especially if you're concerned about the thoughts you're having. You can get a referral from your family doc, if you're unsure of who to contact.
I'm not sure where you are located, in the states there are a number of crisis lines you can contact, they can provide resources as well as a someone to talk to in a crisis. Do either of those suggestions sound good to you? |
