I can't do this anymore

I have nothing going for me any more I feel I now have lost everything that I used to fight for. I have No reason for existing. No one wants me here. Family have abandoned me unless I can DO something FOR them I am totally out of their minds. I am not a bad person. I am a true and loyal friend, but apparently not worth knowing in this very clicky little backwater town. So really there is nothing for me here any more, nothing it seems for me to fight for any where any more.
I cannot find a reason to struggle like this.

I hear you, jazper. Sound like it's been an especially bad time. Are you by any chance making plans to try to get out of there? You see, the reason you struggle is to get out of there!


I've lived in a place where Ive been so shut out professionally that there simply was no future. I had a difficult time levering myself out & staying sane while I did. I tried drinking myself to death for a while.

Please come post often and keep us up on how you're feeling & dealing with this.

Hi Jazper--it's not easy being rejected and it's so easy for all that to get one down but don't let that take anything away from yourself. You know that you are a good person so that is a great foundation. Maybe you can reach out to help someone else who is struggling? So many are in pain and in need of a true and loyal friend. Been there. Gaurentee if you do hang in there and fight it, it can get better. I finally found the light. Trying to figure out what to do with it now that Ive got it, but I never thought it possible to get out of that dark hopelessness. But I did. You can too.

I am so sorry you are having a hard time. I am feeling the loss of three friends of 30 years. I feel worthless and humiliated. Not worth caring about and very lonley. Hope is eventually found if you continue to take a day at a time. Hold you chin up!! I have been through these valleys before. Come here and we can cheer each other up. I have some peanut butter cookies that need to be made and a diet that needs to be sabotaged, yet again.
