Hello, savealife, and welcome to PC. I'm sorry you're feeling so helpless and hopeless right now. I see you posted this yesterday morning - how are you feeling today? If you think you are in danger of hurting yourself, please call a family member, friend, and/or an ambulance and go to the nearest emergency room. Don't allow depression to push you into hurting yourself.
When you go to the hospital, don't expect the ER staff to counsel you, though. Their job is to assess your physical and psychological status, make certain that you are safe, and then they will get in touch with the appropriate mental healthcare professionals to come in, evaluate you, and establish a treatment plan - some smaller hospitals don't have psych professionals physically present 24/7. If you already have a therapist and/or psychiatrist, contact them immediately to let them know how you're feeling, and let them care for you in this crisis. There are many good, kind, knowledgable, and experienced people here on PC who will give you whatever support they can, many of whom have been where you are right now. Sometimes just being able to get those words out is enough to make the depression take a step back. Please let us know how you are doing today and what we can do to provide additional support while your healthcare professionals help you through this. ![]()

Hey savealife! I hope you are doing better! I agree with Lynn09. You should seek some help and I believe you are trying to by reaching out here. That's a great first step! I know feelings of depression can be hard and overwhelming, but its really not worth it. Even if you can't see a way out, know that there is always a way out! There is a saying of "this too shall pass" Whenever I get really depressed I remind myself of that. You also need to try and remember that suicide is a long term solution to a short term problem! My therapist always told me that whenever I contemplated it. Trust me there are so many good things still to come. Don't give up the chance to be happy. I'm bit suicidal as well because I feel like not much people care. Don't give up. Be strong.List all the things which you like about yourself

I do know how you feel, I feel the same way, Ive felt that way now for a while, but I go on. Not for me but for those who will feel mad, angry upset, sad, if I'm not here. I don't feel like they really can feel that way, but thats the feeling part of me and I know that part isn't working to good right now. So I let the brain tell me what to do. Go to bed..pretend to sleep....get dressed...let myself feel the tears...eat when the clock says its time....I'm just marking the time....because I've been to this place before and I've gone past to that place and I've seen the anguish it caused....to my complete disbelief. For I was so completely sure that I didn't belong here. but I was wrong. It was just a feeling...a feeling that was wrong...caused by something wrong inside of me.... I've got to trust in my mind at times like this I cannot trust my feelings because they are wrong, even though they feel so right and hurt so bad so real. Write your feelings, speak your feelings, draw your feelings let them out share them but do not act on them for they are only temporary, I promise you. I do understand the depth of them, so alone, no one else can possibly understand, no one can possibly be your friend. please I tell you, your feelings right now are not your friend. A phone line, a chat line, a PES, a ER anyone else is your friend but not your feelings, they betray you now, hurting and lying. Let the tears fall, the pain be felt. share with someone real, they will let you know that your feelings are temporary and they will pass, it may take time, it may take help, but it will pass. ![]()

(((Savealife))) someone once said on here that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Please follow the above

Save a life, stay strong. I too am depressed out of my mind, however we mus all stay strong...go check out Youtube and insert

I' m suicidal myself so i probably do know a but how u feel but pls get help for yourself. Writing your thoughts can be very helpful and releasing it would feel very good. Walking or biking can also help you sort your thoughts and emotions. But pls call a hotline. Gluck with your struggles, we're all going thru them. I hope you feel better, gluck

Please understand what you really are considering. Who do you want to find you.....what are they suppose to do when they find you...you won't be able to tell them. Are you in pain? Tell us what your pain is, tell someone anyone. Do you know who will never forgive themselves if you do this. You must realize what you will be doing to all the people that care about you....yes they do care they will love you no matter how you feel. You must think of the pain you will be leaving behind on purpose. Why would you want anyone to feel pain that because of you will never leave them. You are not your tragedy you are of value ....your spirit is hurting but this is the season you are in today. Seasons change and I believe you have more reasons to live and as you realize you can help others because of what you decided not to do today. You are remarkable, you are wonderful. You will rise above today and be grateful when you see what tomorrow brings. Share with us your joy so we know you care. I really do know how you feel..I have been where you are; I am so grateful to be here today.
