I'm turning 20. I have no idea what to do on my birthday. My family keeps asking me. I really don't know. A party? I have no friends to invite. I have friends, but none of them no each other, and it just wouldn't feel comfortable. A family party I guess. That's usually just what it ends up with. I can't think of any activities or anything. This always depresses me... It's like why can't I think of anything? I feel like there must be something wrong with me in how I feel indecisive about what to do for my birthday. I just can't think of anything.

How about just going to a nice dinner somewhere? We do that for our son, and he loves it. I don't think that this is about being indecisive. You sound to me like you are rather humble. I think that the best birthdays are those where others do something for you...or you could simply do something for others like volunteer at a shelter for a day. Just a thought...or two. By the way, Happy Birthday!

Please don't be too hard on yourself about this.....we are all indecisive about something or other at times.....

Hi, I personally never enjoyed celebrating my bday. But I can give you some examples of things my friends surprised me with in the past. Some things we did that you might like were dinner & drinks , going to a sport event, going to a concert, movie night, eating/bbq by the lake, bowling, going to a casino, going on a day/weekend trip to another city. . Hope you will find something enjoyable to do.

Thanks guys. Good Ideas. I just feel like there is so much pressure on me. It's like here it is! The big 2-0. What are you gonna do?? I DON'T KNOW! It also doesn't help feeling depressed over all the nostalgia of the past 20 years... It's just like how did time go by so fast. It used to seem like the idea of college was YEARS ahead...
