Hi, everyone have not been on here in awhile. I have had depression for 20yrs. have tried every antidepressant along with numerous hospital visits. Well finally doc & I found a pill that worked it is called pristq the only one that helped. I was feeling wonderful, for about 4 months it felt so good to not hate everything or being in that deep dark hole. Well about 3 days ago it started coming back, cannot stop crying do not care about anything. I do not want to go back to the doc because it has been so long, & never want to be admitted again. I thought this was never going to happen to me again but here I am back in the same boat.

Welcome back! I am sorry that you are struggling with depression once again. I was admitted once, so I understand not wanting to be admitted again. I know from experience that depression is not rational. It comes at times when things are going well.

What has helped you to thrive in times when you were depressed in the past? Can you use some of those techniques to help you now?

I am always willing to talk to anyone here, so feel free to message me.

I hope you feel better soon. I'm not a doctor so I can say what may be causing your symptoms
I hope you talk to you doctor so together you can find a solution. In the city I live in they have crisis
Stabilization. Its a intense outpatient therapy program that last 10-15 days. It a way to prevent hospitalization. Its run by the state and city's Community Service Board. They come to your
home for intake and take you to therapy and to see the doctor. It help my fiance when he was in
a crisis. Feel better.

I'm sorry to hear things have become so rough for you.
You and your doctor have made things go better before, I'm sure that can happen again.

Your doctor has admitted you for depression? That doesn't seem right...
You should definitely seek help because it may be a quick fix like an adjustment on your medication dosage or something. It's better to nip it in the bud rather than let it grow out of control. Hang in there.
