i'm beginning to feel that i am not good enough for anything. Or that anything i do isn't good enough. i feel stupid, and ugly ... and useless. i don't do enough for anyone else... including my own family. I'm just a poor lost soul.. good for nothing. and i'm scared to feel this way.. but i'm also jumping out here on a limb trying to make sure my feelings are ok. i need validation that i am not a stupid loser... that i do things that make other people happy. Or at least that I am capable of doing things that make me happy. Oh, the joys of being me.

Sweetie, you are beautiful and wonderful and you do plenty. You raise 3 kids (THREE!!!). You are a loving person and a terrific friend to many, not least of all me. I don't know if I can tell you it's OK to feel like a stupid loser -- because we both know that's the depression talking, and not the truth, but when you're in the midst of it, it sure *feels* like the truth. Not good enough.

But it's not. I love you to pieces, your kids love you to pieces, and YOU MATTER. If you don't matter to you, you at least matter to me, and we can go from there, OK?

(((((((((((((((((((((Jenn)))))))))))))))))))))))))

Not good enough. Not good enough. Not good enough. Not good enough.

You are good person, you have courage - you came here and you expressed your fears that takes lots of courage and wisdom to know that you are having feelings that are not a true picture of you - you need to stop and look at the good things you have already done in your life and know that you are a good, kind, courageous person who is beautiful inside and out and take inventory of all of your accomplishments - long ago past, recent past and present and know that you have lots of good things to do in the future and you will do them - keep a smile on your face and try to think of only good things about yourself - you don't have to think of the bad stuff every time you think something negative about yourself stop and say 'hey no, I don't have to think this way' and replace that thought with a positive one -
keep your chin up and smile ....

You are far from being stupid, or being a loser, or ugly, or useless.

A) If you were stupid I'd find much of what you say to be irrelevant - but I don't because you're kind, thoughtful and very knowledgeable
B) You aren't a loser. You may not always be a "winner" in life and whanot but you're definetely not a loser.
C) You aren't ugly. I've seen the pictures, and you're very nice looking. Not good enough. Seriously.
D) And you're not useless. The amount of work and time you devote here is noticed and very much appreciated. And you're not useless to your family, for everything I've seen you post you're a solid foundation in it.

Love ya and take care of yourself.

Not good enough.

Thank you all so much. I think it was a combination of being terribly sick with the flu, and an adjustment in my medication. I'm feeling better now. You are all so great. You make it feel good to be me.

You're a dear friend to me! You've been there for me through rough times... Your love for your kids, is showing in such a beautiful way! I've seen your kids sitting on your lap... you all looking so cute. You're a wonderful wife to your Devin.

Glad to find that you're feeling better today!

Love ya! Not good enough.
