I am depressed. Have been for a very long time. Has been worse lately. I am sick of being depressed. But I have come to the point where I am starting to say that I will not give into this monster. I am going to stare it in the face and challenge it every day. Oh, I know some days will be very bad. I also know that after the valley comes the mountain. Hugs to me.

Hugs, hugs and more hugs to you seekersinking!!!
It sounds like that depression has a real fight on it's hands!! And I really don't envy it, knowing how tough you can be at times!!
And really impressed by your approach!! It can be SO easy to get sucked in, and like you said there may/will still be some bad times, but if you can just keep on trying to let it know you're still there, you're still you that's got to help a bit in fronting it out.
And you know that we're still with you to try to help you through the bad times, don't you?? And when you feel like you need a break from the fighting we're here to understand, hear you, and support you until you're ready to fight it again.
Here's to the road ahead!!

Way to go!! Remembering to fight your depression everyday is so key! Sometimes I forget and boom. My mood goes down the pipes and I just curl into a ball under my blankets for the whole day. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

Keeprolling, I have spent a few days in bed myself. Somedays it is extremely hard to get out of bed. But if I want to keep my job I must get up. I hate depression so much. Being brave is so hard.

It's an hard to acomplish statement. Really hard I guess.
Guess you need to remember it everyday in order to not forget it. But even so it's corageus.
Good luck with that.

hey hey don't worry! We all have off days (off weeks, off months even) and it is so very hard to move yourself when your entire body feels like it's made out of stone. You are so amazingly brave and resilient <3 Keep hating depression. Keep getting angry. Don't let it win and when you are completely exhausted be gentle with yourself. Tomorrow is fresh with no mistakes in it Take your time to recharge and then fight again. You are lovelier and stronger than you will ever know!
