I am having a very difficult 48 hours.........burst into tears several times...........sobbing uncontrollably.......acute insomnia........probs w/ anger........depression worse.........
I'm trying so damn hard to set small goals, take baby steps, think positively, reach out for help, etc...........trying so hard to work to get myself better...........but I'm just worse lately..........no change in meds................I. am. going. crazy. and. don't. understand. anymore. |

Have you tried sleeping pills to get sleep? I focus in on that because I don't care how sane or great anyone's life is-if they go without a good night sleep for a few nights than it'll make anybody feel crazed. If you're already a little emotionally distressed to begin with than you know it's going to wreck havoc on your psychie. (sp?) So, maybe if you make sleep the main objective for a little while? Buy lavender scented lotion and lavender scented baby powder or any smell that promotes calmness-drink chamomile tea before bed-melitonin supplements-cut out ALL caffiene products from your diet and over the counter medications-stick to a sleep schedule, wake up the same time everyday regardless of how badly you want to sleep in and try to go to bed the same time every night. Don't stay in bed if you cannot sleep-get up and go to the livingroom and read a book or take a warm bubble bath and then go back and try again. Take sleeping pills if all else fails. I take over the counter, they work well for me. Do NOT take naps during the day. Try buying a meditation tape. Even if you don't do the meditation-usually the tape/cd is so calming-it'll put you to sleep. And it'll be a bonus if you can do the meditation. I know from experience that you need to focus in on your sleep patterns first. If you can get that much started I think you'll start feeling much better. |

Can you get something to give ya a good knockout to sleep? (safely of course). It might lessen those awful symptoms.... I'm so sorry des, that I'm not there to help..... Caring from here and you know that i am, can I do anything? |

Im so sorry. wish there was something I could do. I know how you feel, its so hard to take those little steps that you cant even explain it. Just know that your not alone. I know it hurts, and I'm here to help. If it makes u feel better, I didnt get much sleep lastnight myself. ![]() |
