I feel bad almost everyday. I am taking an antidepressant. I try to focus on a hobby and I just don't get into it. I have times where I am into it. But times like now I just feel like it is all just stupid. I have lost a great relationship because of how I am. I feel worthless. I don't know what to do anymore. I just do feel like I am worth much. I am told I am but I just don't feel like it is true...... You know??

i am sorry that you are in pain right now. yes that is true that you deserve more.... if you listen to your heart, you will gain something good for few days or years. but if you listen to your soul, you will gain good for your whole life... so take a time and know yourself, your desire, your needs.

take care of yourself

hi, kaspju I'm sorry if any of this sounds patronising i've never been good at picking my words.

I have on many occassions felt the way you have described, allthough I'm not sure how you define a great relationship, as I have never been able to find anyone special who could cope with me or the way I am, most have left me within 2 months.
I know it can be a real blow to feel that you've pushed someone you care greatly about away.

I hope you can take some comfort in that others feel this way and that people care about and want to support you through this difficult time.

Thank you all for you support.

fayerody- No I don't see a therapist. My insurance is not that great and my job does not pay that great. Should I just suck it up and go?

dreamgirl30- Thank you for your insightful words. I will take care of myself. It is a struggle somedays but I hope with time it will get better!

jinnyann- No Worries. I figured it was a computer prob or something. I got through the day/night. things are better for now. well that is relative with people like us right? lol. Anyway I will PM you if I need anything. Thank you

lazarou- No your words are just like I would use. The relationship was great. But in the end it came down to the fact that she could not handle me. I tried to tell her. To help her understand but in the end she is damaged herself. So it sucks. But anyway, I am glad to have found this place. People that know what I am going through and are willing to help. It is a huge plus!

Thanx again to you all!

Justin

Hello.
I am very sorry for the pain that you are going through at this time. If you are not thriving on your medication then it is possible you need a medicaiton adjustment or another medication if the medication is not working in general. You should have a talk with your therapist and let the therapist and Psych Dr know that you are not thriving on your medication. That way the Dr will know how to treat your depression in the manner in which you deserve. There are also support groups that you may like to attend for depression as well in your area. The NAMI and DBSA website has information on the groups in your area. Both groups are good groups and offer a lot of support for people diagnosed with depressoin. take care I hope the best for you in the future. Take care Soidhonia
