Being apathetic or not being able to feel would be hard. It sucks being sad and experiencing bad emotions and stuff though. You're stuck being loved, like it or not. You are loved. I wish I could be blind to whats happening around me a great deal of the time as well.

I'll help you build the wall too, but it's going to be a wall like the one in a new building where I work. It's a wall of windows covered with perforated zinc. It's beautiful and shining and reflective and protects from the harsh elements, but it lets the light shine in too. That's the kind of wall you need. No one can see you through the wall when you don't want to be seen, but you can always look out and see the sunshine and feel it on your face, and you can open the windows and feel and smell the breeze... and it has a big door too, for when you're ready to come out.
