I often feel stuck when the inner pain and storms come, just not sure if shall sit or stand, can do nothing , the head becomes a junk.....then anger towards self will become stronger and stronger....
Do u have any ideas to cope ? |

Get yourself to do something physical to balance the head and anger. Go rake leaves or make a meal, a casserole or pie or something else "complicated" that will be around for a couple days to remind you.
Make as much "sensual" noise as you can to drown out the head and anger; make things that smell and/or taste good, look at something that looks good (go window shopping at your favorite store?), touch and wear fabrics that feel good, listen to good music.

Write, write, write...that is what I do. People may get tired of me saying this, but it really works for me. I write a letter to my therapist or shrink explaining what I am thinking and feeling. I almost never give them the letter, but it helps me organize my thoughts and gets me out of the rut I am in.
