I'm glad you're feeling better - don't question it, enjoy it! Now, where is it winter? It's 80 where I am and i love it (winter makes me hurt!).

((((((((((((((((lio)))))))))))))))

I am a winter....I love winter. I like the cold. I like to be able to wrap up in a warm and soft blankie and cocoon myself during the winter. It has a feeling of safety. I love the cold night sky in winter, the stars so bright and blinking, the moon so crisp and clear. Enjoy the feeling my friend.

its winter somehow i feel better...

First off let me say I have never lived where there was actually a winter. We've always had sweat and sweatier type weather. On those rare occassions when it did snow the mayor declared a holiday. One time when the ground turned white with a dusting of snow everyone had to take a week off from work (snow days).

Winter is a time of rest, peace, quiet, hibernation. Nature's time out. It can have a very calming effect.

HI elsqueelio,

Greetings to you on the other side of the world. I live on the east coast of the United States, so spring is just starting here.

I used to feel better in winter --somehow my depressive mood seemed to fit in with the weather. My extreme depressions seemed to come in the spring, and I always wondered if it was because the contrast between myself and everyone else just got highlighted in the spring. It seemed like everyone else would be happy and more active and I didn't feel that way.

It is very confusing when it seems like our moods get better or worse and it's not clear why. For me in the past it really increased my feelings of being out of control and then I'd get down on myself for that. Now I try to accept more that I have a mood disorder. It isn't easy though.

I hope for whatever reason that you feel a little better you just enjoy it.

Take care.
