Seems like I talk and talk and I want to talk more, but I feel like I've come to a point where I've said everything :-( My depression is staying and not letting go.
Very sad and feeling like giving up.

Dunno why I even post this.. Guess I need someone to talk to, even when all is said.

i know that feeling. feel like you say the same things over and over. feel the same way over and over. like watching your life and emotions on re-runs. but we are here to listen and support anyway we can. know that you are not alone. all of us with depression suffer those same pains and sense of loss. you are in my thoughts

Hi Pergorative!

Yes...it is true: when I am in in a depression, it feels like I'm on a carrousel of repeats..emotions, feelings, words over & over: staying in the same place.

Just a suggestion: when I am feeling anxious, stressed or depressed I put on my headphones with upbeat music and go for a long walk.

This gives me a change of: scenery, routine, fresh air, sounds, scents...it appeals to ALL my senses. I feel MUCH better afterwards. This technique I have used most of my life..and I do credit it with kick-starting my mood upwards, and a release from the everyday dregs.

There have been days when I have headed out for LONG WALKS (1 hr +) up to 3 x a day....as soon as I feel a mood cycle shift, anxiety or stress..I head out!

Hope this helps a bit.... Stuck :<

been stuck for years its no joke, i find different things help, if you can laugh at yourself--not easy when you are in the pits and need an answer, i find that when i'm hearing myself saying the same things over and over its time to stop beating myself up on that one , i think that there is sometimes not an easy answer to a problem if the thought processes are not working right , take care

Thanks, I needed to hear that :>

To Recluse and Onyx: Thank you both, I'll PM you to chat some more (or if you see me in chat, pop in).

Grace: Yeah, I also go work out and listen to music that strengthens me, it's lovely, but temproary :<

Jeff: I can laugh at my situation even when at my lowest points. Guess that's rather uncommon :-x

It's good you can laugh about it, and music's always good. Have you tried writing or keeping a journal of how you feel?

Hi mendy.

I've been writing from the start, but I am getting weary of it. I'd just like to meet someone IRL struggling with the same problems as me :-( I'm working on it, though.

Are there any RL support groups you can go to in your country? I think there's some here in NZ but I'm far too scared to go...

Well, I guess there is in my country (not in my town :<).

Maybe I should check it out, it's summer after all.
