depression is awful....drugs can be both helpful and/or harmful....
I was helped by anti-depressants and harmed at the same time...
when I was broken down I would have taken anything to feel better...
there is hope for new and better meds...
but the greatest hope lies in understanding what is causing all this depression..
I am not happy with the present drug culture..

I called my doctor. He said that there is expected to be some amount of depression when I am taking antibiotics. He has asked me to contact him after 10days.

I don't think this is great but I think it's more "acceptable" than much of what I've experienced from doctors.

I asked one doctor for a referral for therapy and he simply said "no" I was on a long term repeat prescription for Paxil

And I have never been a heavy user of the "services" ... Quite the opposite for many years, as I do not trust them.

Do you think I should delete my baby hypoallergenic thread? I've tried looking at allergy forums etc, they just freak me out

I think my PTSD is partly caused by appalling experiences linked to this and relatives who were abusive nurses

Sorry... I think (and hope) that most nurses are lovely.

But these two most definitely were not

Still waiting for the doctor to call

Apart from my flu and depression, I am having panic attacks too and a very low energy level which makes me think at times that I am almost in coma. That's why I had said I think that I am dying. I dont feel like a human being any more, I feel like a corpse.
