If people don't know the pain we are in...they can not help.

She expects me to change any "thought distortions" with CBT. She knows I am depressed and the suicidal ideation has not abated because I have sent her several emails. As far as she is concerned it is my responsibility to improve my life and attitude.

I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. What about meds? Have you tried that or just behavioral therapy? Is there any way you could try a different therapist? Finding the right person really can make a difference. But I don't know if that's possible for you and if it is I know it's hard to take the energy to do things like that when you're depressed. Good luck
Thanks for this!

Your counselor sounds like an idiot.

It must be oh so nice to be wealthy enough to afford a $4 cup of coffee; having fancy coffee at a place such as Starbucks is something that I might be able to do 1-2 times a year if I'm lucky.

Typical wealthy people who assume that the rest of us have the same resources and means as they do; **** them.

I hope you find a job soon. Hang in there!

Haha. Thank you for the "sounds like an idiot" response. You made my day!

I take herbals as they don't set my gut and brain on fire. This is my last last last LAST therapy experience ever. It is hard to do things when depressed. Thank you for your support. It is appreciated.
