I miss my mind the most!

I'm beginning to think I need a keeper. I keep forgetting things. Well its more like I don't remember things.

I don't remember where I put the scissors I just had in my hands.....I did have them didn't I.
Who put the banana in the freezer. No wonder I couldn't find it for my cereal this morning.

Twice in the last week I've set out my morning meds to put beside my bed. I go get my "pill container" and come back to find my pills missing. I retrace my steps to make sure I haven't laid them down and forgotten. Well unless the pill fairy really does exist.......I've taken my pills.

Morning pills are just that, not the sort of thing you take at night. They make it possible to get out of bed in the morning. "Peps" you up so you don't just pull the covers back up over your head and hibernate. Gets your motor running. Definitely not something you take at night when you want to sleep.

So much for my abien working tonight. Guess it is going to be another long night.........

I can definitely identify with you.

Morning pills and insulin injection...some days I don't remember to do either.

If I don't put thing "in their place" I will not find them when I want or need them. It is frustrating.

I swear you've been living my life. If you can figure out a way to make sure that the pills made it in your mouth rather than the glass cupboard, please let me know.

I try VERY hard to pay attention to what I am doing. But somehow the banana ends up in freezer, the keys are in the fridge, pills are in the cupboard, and I have NO idea where my drivers license is! If I ever find that black hole that I refer to as the "safe" place I'll be a happy camper. I've thought this logically, the important papers that I'm missing, the sheer volume of them means that this safe place must be HUGE.

If you happen so see the pill fairy, will you ask her where the safe place is? I need proof of identity to get a new driver's license soon. And also, please ask, where the missing sock goes, missing glove, missing shoe, who takes the keys. I have a whole list!

yeah, i've done some boneheaded stuff in the previous months. one time, i remembered to go to take my night dose of meds. i walked into the kitchen, then *poof*. i never took my meds. i don't know if something took my attention away for me to remember, or what. now, that was weird. i never forgot something in this fashion before. hehe, oh, well.

I haver proof that stress decreases memory... in my job I rely heavily on my memory (it is a printing and binding shop). Periodically we get huge loads of work, and I must work overnight and during sundays... when this happens, I totally forget things in hours, I have to call customers and ask "what should I do for you?"
So I know that I have to write down EVERYTHING.
You see, it is nothing to worry about Of all the things I've lost.....
