Little Turtle, I thought it was the first rule for doctors..

Do no harm?

They seriously got that wrong in the mental health teams....

thanks thirty shades....do no harm is interesting...
I was very good at not harming others...
but I harm myself...I am cruel to myself...
I judge myself very harshly...I feel like crying..
how could I be so cruel...to me...I was a good little kid

You mean to say there are TEAMS of them?? There are abusive therapists in TEAMS??

How hard is it to help someone?? All that education wasted on people who find it easier to abuse a client rather than to help them.

Little Turtle you are the best
We are blessed to have you here with your wisdom and insight
Maybe we are all the same
Our thoughts and feelings lead us to dark places
You are good on the inside and outside
Cry and emote it out....

Thank you for being here with your confessions for all of us...
I am very grateful to you...

We stand together

We are lucky to have insight and understand that others have not been afforded...
Luck sucks sometimes....

Our feelings drag us down and because we are good
we look in the mirror and attack ourselves
rather than those who brought us here...

We are all good
And when we stand tall
Remember we are good
When we are content with ourselves and all we hold within
We are once more complete....

The depression then subsides....

We attack ourselves rather than those who brought us here...
Because we are good .....

Others don’t have the insight, and it feels like some of the “providers” discourage insight. Why do they not DO NO HARM

I am probably way wrong on this idea....I think diet has a huge impact
on brain function and mental states like depression...

I have not been able to log in here for quite a while. I had a cold, then a throat infection, and finally food poisoning. My depression is quite bad too and I get regular anxiety attacks.
Anyways, how are you all? Much love and hugs to all.

I think they are starting to find through research now that the gut does play a strong role in our mental health....

I eat healthily but still suffer....
There must be more to it than that...

Who (and how) we are brought up by, makes the biggest difference

Just been posting on another thread... Got me thinking about what I was typing...

"For me there are good days and bad days, getting by using all I have learnt. It is the ugly days that still get me...."

What is it we can do on the ugly days?

The only solace to be found is to find the kind company of friends who understand and wait until it passes....

Much love to all today

yes....I am having the start of an ugly day...
I am very tired...I am worried...I am afraid..
I am trying to just go with it and accept that this is ugly...
I thought I knew a lot about depression and panic...
I don't know very much...not much...I need to help myself..
I can't help others any longer...I am kidding myself...
I will just do what I can today...
I need to be kind to myself and others...
I hope everyone here feels better as the day goes on..
