Do you think that ''plain speaking'' is a ''good'' attribute in a therapist?
As in brutal ''honesty'' or rather their perspective on ''reality'' and saying that what I said is ''ridiculous'' It hasn't helped me

Therapists need more understanding of CPTSD.
Offering honest solutions to help us can help or bring us down.... The focus needs to be on understanding and managing our emotions.... I lack awareness of how I feel so very much of the time My panic can't be ignored, Grrrr My inner self resorts to panic to get my awareness, I wonder? Much love and hugs to all
