To those who know me here... and a few do, beyond the posts in the public forum.

I don’t think it’s fair to make such judgements based on just few bad days. It’s also not right to diagnose someone as paranoid without proper assessments. Sure some people are negative people but one should really observe them for a long time to even suggest that.
In addition it’s inappropriate for a medical professional to refer to people in such terms. There is a big difference between casual and private chit chat about someone in a privacy of your home and entirely different story to say it to a patient What’s wrong with this person |

But since I only had five minutes to spit out my symptoms which were complicated it was not exactly easy  . A bit of kindness and compassion from the doctor would help

I don't think it is fair to label a person at all.
No person is negative. We are all neutral. If we are talking negatively, that is just one state we find ourselves in while in pain. We don't look for a negative life. The negative life is just somewhere we find ourselves. When our snakes become overactive, it is possible our worries are exaggerated. We are intelligent and when we have honesty we have no need to be paranoid. It is the many lies we have been subjected to that leave us uncertain and wondering.... I once had a moment of enlightenment in a therapy session. The T shot it down... "No don't do that" was the response. How dare I voice my thoughts... That comment made me fearful to try my personal revelation. (I am not suggesting I have a cure, many of us have worked out that a cure is unlikely) Yesterday, I tried it, I got brave. It was helping yesterday.  I am sending hugs and respect to you dear Fuzzybear and all those who have experienced unhelpful therapy.
