I imagine you must have discussed it many times over with your therapist, yes? Not wishing to intrude here, but I know how awful it feels to be really frightened.
Also in the medical field there is a certain machismo.

Panic is the worst part of mental health for me.
I feel a loss of self and my mind. It happens too many times in a day...  My meditation yesterday encouraged me not to fear the feeling of panic because it feeds it.  These feelings all happen very quickly. |

Hello everyone and warm hugs.
Turtle I’m glad to hear you’re not averse to discussing these things. I also welcome the chance to talk about them. It’s kind of a relief as long as there is no unwanted judgement or advice. And I will never forget my first batch of panic attacks, many years ago. I had no idea what was happening to me. I thought I was dying because things kept going black. (Actually I was hyperventilating). Believe it or not, I called an ambulance for myself that time. And Thirty Shades, I too find that when I struggle against my fear it gets worse. One thing I fear is running out of things to do on my iPhone. Unless I can settle quickly on the next thing to do I start to panic. Not sure what I’m so afraid of....
