Jennifer, I hope you are feeling better today. That does not sound like a fun way to spend the weekend at all and I'm sorry you are missing those events.

Yesterday seems like a distant memory and I have no idea now what I did. Two spontaneous cooking projects, a hike, some shopping. No writing. Perhaps today I will have some time alone to work on my project. I did set up an area that will be more private so even if I am not alone, I have a workspace where it will be less convenient to interrupt me. We'll see how that goes. I signed up for a month of a streaming service so we could watch a new show and I've spent more time than usual watching tv.

I am not sure about today either. Part of me just wants to take this month off. I will keep it simple.
- dishes
- clean cat area
- comprehensive list review and update

Thank you, I do feel better today but I’ve lost some of my holiday cheer. I’m going to that event today where we make ornaments although I don’t want to. Hopefully, I’ll have fun and get back in the Holiday mood.

I need to grocery shop on my way back and I’m going to work on my finances and den since I had to temporarily put that aside.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day.

I caught up on dishes but then made more!

I'm not sure what is going on, but I still feel scattered and unfocused. The task list I put together for today is pretty unrealistic and I've already found myself distracted from the tasks I've set out to do. My priorities today are
- exercise
- submit assignment
- writing project

I made some taco soup yesterday, worked on my finances and had the first appointment. It was necessary for the dermatologist and lab work to be put off until today as I was still recovering. The dermatologist is at 8:15 which is extra early for me. I do much better with afternoon appointments although I’m a morning person. After the lab, I have to go by another doctor’s office for some samples and then it’s back home after some raspberry tea. I made a huge dent in my finances and I’ll finish up today and work some more on the den. I should be able to finish the den today.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day.

@GoGo2 I hope you've found some light.

I keep going off on tangents lately. Today will have more structure due to several scheduled activities.
- exercise
- errands
- project

@GoGo2 Thinking of you

I still need to do my lab work, get an elbow injection and then pick up some samples from one of my doctors. I’ll do that Wednesday. I’ll also continue working on my den. I’m making good progress.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day.

I exercised, did errands, and worked a bit on my project.

More errands and appointments today, all clustered in the afternoon. I will have some time alone tonight to work on my project but would also like to work on it this morning. Continuing with the unfocused feelings and wonder if they could be connected to SAD? I am moving along, it just doesn't feel like it.

1. Project
2. Cooking
3. Filing

I got some exercise in that I wasn't planning on, sorted a pile even if I didn't file anything, and worked a bit on my project. I have another cluster of events this afternoon. Before then, I will

-exercise
-work on my project

I frustrate myself when I need to get something done and schedule it and don’t get it done. I’ve been doing chores this morning. I took the trash to the road and saw a truly gorgeous sunrise. I did not get my labs done or the elbow injection. It doesn’t matter why. I failed to get it done. I will continue chores for today and be at the doctors office at 8:00 am tomorrow for labs. The next availability for an injection is 12/21. Painful waiting. My responsibility.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day.

I'm not sure I want to list any goals. Part of me just wants to write off the day and plan on doing nothing. That's probably not the best idea. I'll set a low bar instead.

- 30 minutes chores
- 30 minutes project
- 15 minutes investigating a trip

I got my labs done yesterday! Yay! Today the maid is here and has invaded my space getting the Christmas decorations down from the attic. I will attempt to get a few things done when she leaves but it looks like most of the day is about decorating for Christmas.

I hope everybody has a peaceful day.

Bullet journaling and UNDATED planners give me the flexibility of incorporating my ancestral language.

How do I incorporate my Native Indigenous language?
•I use an UNDATED planner and bullet journals are a blank canvas. I enter dates written in my ancestral language (months, days of the week, seasons and celebratory occasions (Green Looking for accountability partners (task check in) #2 Corn ).

•I have multiple chronic illnesses and a teenager so my life requires a planner.

•I also prefer BuJo and UNDATED planners because it allows me to decolonize my personal created calendars. I don’t include colonial holidays which I don’t celebrate.

•I do include dates that are important to me: National MMIWGT2S Awareness, Farce of July, Custer’s Last Stand, Orange Shirt Day, Wounded Knee, Dakota 38 + Etc.

•There are no rules. BuJo and planners are a great way to use beautiful stickers and washi tape created by Native Indigenous creatives.

Bullet Journal (BuJo)
•But what exactly is a bullet journal? ... Instead of blank, lined pages, a bullet journal (or BuJo, for short) contains sections to log daily to-dos, keep a monthly or weekly calendar, jot down notes, track both physiological and mental health, and record both short- and long-term goals.

Planners
•Using a planner allows you to schedule each event, appointment, errand, and task, so that you know what to expect and don't run out of time. Set specific due dates and deadlines for everything to help you stay on track, and have extra time left for yourself and your family.

•Hobby Lobby had a 40% off sale and I purchased a few inserts: updated daily and weekly meal plan.

•I’m now aware of what layouts I like and don’t like.

•I prefer inserts to be undated, weekly and have time slots.

•It’s a pet peeve of mine to write an appointment/training for 1 pm and a few days later have another appointment on the same day at 8 am. I like my appointments and trainings etc to be listed in chronological order. Lol Looking for accountability partners (task check in) #2 Time slots is the solution for me.

•I placed an order late last night for undated weekly inserts with time slots. Cornell Notes and Task Delegation Inserts.

•I like the Cornell Notes inserts because I attend a lot of medical appointments. I also attend a lot of trainings and workshops. I like to take notes.

•I prefer my Task Delegation Inserts not be included in my weekly inserts. Certain tasks will have deadlines however others I work on throughout the week.

•I will save the inserts from Hobby Lobby as a back up in the event inserts are out of stock at Cloth and Paper.

•It’s important to me to primarily purchase from BIPOC businesses and this includes BuJo, planning and money management.

Today:

•I swept Looking for accountability partners (task check in) #2 my car out.
•swept Looking for accountability partners (task check in) #2 leaves off the porch.
•Found meals for my meal planner.

I was successful with my sock search. I have four unmatched that I've put in a separate place. If I don't find mates, those will go in the trash in a month. I think one has been solo for a few years (but it's a really nice sock, I keep thinking I will find the other).

I still find that I am too distracted to work on the projects I 'should' focus on.

I sent my email and exercised. Today is a little busy. This morning I need to prepare for a meeting this afternoon. If that meeting ends at a reasonable time, I am going to meet up with someone else. I have something coming up in January that will also involve a fair amount of prep. Feeling a little stressed but also more motivated to get to work than I have felt lately.

1. Meeting prep
2. Update my lists
3. Plan for January prep.

My family is having Christmas over here so today I will continue getting everything ready for Christmas and my daughter’s visit. I need to run a couple of errands and I’m going to a drum circle tonight. It will be a fairly busy day.

1. Preparation
2. Errands
3. Drum circle

I like that Bullet Journaling and Planning both allow personalization.

•I use a bullet journal (gifted to me) and a planner (6 ring/A5- by Cloth and Paper).

. It’s ok to use both or to prefer one over the other.

•It’s ok to like anesthetics, add art, stickers and washi tape etc.

•It’s ok to be a minimalist and keep it simple. I’m in the middle.

•I prefer a weekly spread. I like to open my planner and see the entire week.

•I create a weekly tasks list. I work on the list throughout the week with the exception of things that have deadlines.

•Planner system have definitely expanded over the years.

•Planner systems are able to be customized to fit your needs. Many items are sold individually like inserts (dated calendars, undated calendars, tasks list, habit tracking, cleaning, notes, money management, gift list, meal planner and project management).

•I use Cornell notes (by Cloth and Paper) to jot down information discussed at my medical appointments, virtual trainings and workshops.

•I use undated calendar inserts (by Cloth and Paper) which allows me to write my dates in my Native Indigenous language. It’s important for me to include my ancestral language in my BuJo and planner.

•I recently purchased project management inserts (by Cloth and Paper). I’ve transitioned from renting an apartment to renting a duplex temporarily (month to month). My goal and project is to rent a house.

•When I move, I like to make a tasks list, list dates that tasks need to be completed. Items I need to purchase such as packing tape, boxes and bubble wrap. Plus scheduling movers.

•I have inserts to keep track of e-mails, e-mails I need to respond to. I communicate through e-mail for a lot of business matters.

•I like meal planning however have not found inserts that I like. I decided to use dot grid inserts for my meal planning. It’s important for me to stay on top of meal planning to prevent eating out a lot and constantly going to the grocery store for ingredients.

I don't feel like doing a thing. It has been a real struggle lately. I am binge watching tv shows instead of doing much that's useful. I cancelled a trip this weekend because I wasn't hearing back from someone and am trying to figure out if I can fit it in this week or if I should just wait until spring when Covid case counts may be down.

1. Work on data analysis with new info.
2. 30 minutes on my old project.
3. 30 minutes studying.
4. Finish assignment.

Looking for accountability partners (task check in) #2

2 of 2

•EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, and users say that this simple technique helps them feel better quickly. EFT tapping has roots in the 1970s when several doctors began stimulating acupressure points to help their patients deal with stress, fear, and phobias.

•I practice a form of meditation and listen to podcasts.

•I don’t participate in therapy but I do repost quotes from therapists or that mention therapy.
I prefer peer centered support groups vs therapy.
