I woke up :sadhug feeling really bad today nothing triggers me to feel awful

Well, "hell week" is over. It was a mixed time emotionally as some dreaded events were not as bad as I thought they'd be. But then there were a couple of disappointments, as a couple of things didn't work out as planned. The bike shop, last Friday, was a big disappointment because I thought I'd get work done and nothing happened. And today, I went to the Urologist's office and didn't get to meet with the doctor like I thought I would. Oh well! So I rescheduled for another time.

I feel like those disappointments might remain in my heart for a while, but at least it will be a good while before I have an appointment with any doctor. And also my next door neighbor is all moved in, so no more noises from moving in, and no parade nearby like last Saturday.

Hi, I am still sick and will probably be so for the next days. Pain all over and problems with my breath. I was in a situation were I tried hard to come out of depression (using a combination of tools) when the flu hit. This flu is so hard that it kicked right into my depression and made it worse.

In the middle of everything, I feel that it was a good decision to come here. There is nothing wrong with the people in the other forum. I only felt that for the time being I needed to "see some new faces". To see new faces in addition to those one knows from before is never wrong.

Sorry this week has been bad

This morning a woman at where I live had a fall. This happened at a walkway at 5:30 AM. I wondered what that was about. At that time I heard a thud that sounded hard and then another one not so hard a minute later. There were some commotion outside of where I was and the ambulance came.

It seems like this has been a weird year so far. From December, 2022 to now a lot of people at where I live have had to have an ambulance come for them. And then things went wrong for me, but fortunately, no medical crisis.

The depression is hard to cope with. The flu is somewhat better. I need to go out to buy groceries today. Hope that does not make the flu worse.

In case if your not feeling up to go out shopping have you thought about ordering groceries online and have it delivered? I did that one time because I didn't have my car available.

It’s strange but relieving to think that yesterday I’d run out of my sleeping pills and today I have them. Especially since my mom said she’d let me know asap when I texted her about it yesterday.

I should have thought of that, but I went for shopping my groceries myself and became worse. More headache and more coughing. I need to see how this goes. If this continues I will need a doctor to look at it.

Day one of a slightly higher dose of my mood stabilizer. I know I shouldn’t really be feeling a difference yet, but the fact that I don’t feel as sad has to mean something, right?

I've felt kind of low today. It's not bad depression, just not doing basic stuff like cleaning up the kitchen or getting dressed. Kind of sad, but not teary-eyed sad.

I don't like the weekend. Also, the continued heat bothers me.

Sad to see the Haven shutting down after all these years (a mental health Discord server mentioned on this forum long ago). Same with depressionforums.org recently as well. I hope at least this forum remains 😕

…so I have a thing for my new physical therapist.

Thankfully I have a few vent blogs elsewhere that she’ll never see so I don’t go nuts. Just one thing though - why is she so cute?

I am starting to feel somewhat better from the flu and depression is lifting as well.
