I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "this disease it fun", " way to go", "let's do it again." Those you care about the most can sometimes be the first to go.

As a frog of little brain advice is not one of my strong points. However, I can speak from experience and you have found a special place here.

Friends here truly understand the pain and suffering you're are going through. When you need to rant, complain, or whine people here are willing to listed. Most importantly of all we are quite willing to give hugs.

pj, I'm sending you a special, big hug,
the questions you ask are simple and profound at the same time.

Simple because people make instant judgements about mental health issues and especially about the individuals concerned.

Profound because we are dealing with complex psychological goings-on which instant judgements don't give enough time to consider in detail.

Keep here, as the people are very supportive, you'll find.

Re: pj56
Kebsfroggy is absoloutely right, you'll get every support and hugs on here. My poetry is not that good, but it comes from deep inside, born of the kind of pain you're going through, pj. I, too, went to a psychiatric hospital 2 times, so there. . . Please see my blog here at Psychcentral at:

Feel free to send me a pm, or you can e-mail me at:

Do drop me a line, I'm here for you as a good, reliable friend.
Now you take care. Pleasure to meet you. Stay posting please (!)

Dear pj56, actually I sent you a reply, but for some reason it hasn't shown up on the screen. So let's hope this reply gets to you !!!
Please, pj, see my blog at:

or you can send me a pm here at Psychcentral. Pj, I, too, went to the psychiatric hospital (twice), and it worries methat you "don't feel good". I've had the most horrific battle with depression these past years, so I empathise with you. We all here will help you get out of that "very bad place". Please may I ask: are you getting the appropriate social services' help ( must admit I don't know how they work where you are, as I live in London, England).
Here's gunning especially for you, pj. One very slow, big hug to you.
