had a meeting today with my social worker and my community care assistent, they told me it was a review...
but i wasnt, even before they got here they had decided to cut my support down.
they feel in going backwards and that im not helping . they also feel i should start looking into voluntry work.

i feel like they are phasing me out of there books.
only time will tell, should have another meeting with cca on thursday,.. lets see if he turns up........

Is there any way you can appeal to a third party or perhaps your soc worker's higher-ups?

Take care of yourself,

Oh I'm so sorry to hear they are cutting back on your support. You mental health system is so different from ours. The feelings of abandonment by your mental health professionals is devastating. I've had a few mental health "professionals" who needed attitude adjustments.

As a frog of little brain you know I have no answers. Totally separate from the support system or rather lack there of, finding an interest outside from the everyday mundane might help.

I have started doing some of the things I did before I landed in our local mental heath facility. While frustrating at times because I have to relearn everything, I'm able to put some of the pain of my mental health situation behind me. No instant cure but some of the horribly deep sorrow has eased a little.

I don't know about voluntary work but maybe you can find something, anything to help ease your dependency on your mental health system.

I know very little about you but my heart goes out to you my friend. The shock, the abandonment, the lack of understand my your mental health providers is overwhelming.

Whether to vent, cry, laugh, or just talk frogs of little brains make good listeners.

This isnt personal to you although I know it feels it. It really is them, it happens so much over here, they find a way to label people and shove them out of the "support" system. Its worth fighting for, make as much noise as you can lost support Degrading to have to do that, but sometimes its the only thing that "works". (sometimes it "works" sometimes it doesn't, again thats about them and the resources of lack of it, not about you) And you have us, always, true friends are a better support system than a terminally inadequate mental health system.

Sorry about your appointment, but they will be there for you. They are just trying to give you ideas to get you busy. Maybe you could ask if they have support groups you could go to, so you can talk to others in person. Best of luck with your next appointment, that will go much better for you.

The website I have here is a EFT also know as tapping, that is something my depression group is teaching us, to help get rid of our pains and things that have hurt us.
