So, at the end of June my depression started making a turn for the worse. About a week ago, I would wake up from really troubling nightmares. It isn't necessarily a recurring nightmare; just a different one every night, and will leave me laying awake with a feeling of impending doom. It's like everything is surreal following the moments after me waking up, and I feel terrified and trapped. It's really getting to be too much. Has anyone else experienced this? How did you get through it?

I have had nightmares, I don't know what will help you, I leave the tv on when I sleep to nick at night old comedies, no dramas. You could turn on a radio to your favorite station or CD. But better yet, you should talk to your counselor about them and maybe he/she can help you throught them.

Good luck and wishing you sweet dreams. Nightmares Nightmares

That's funny, I do the same thing for my nightmares. Alter them by watching a funny movie before bed and I keep nick at night on all night, keeps the bad dreams away.

Good luck with your nightmares.
