Can anyone give me some advice on how to regulate my sleep schedule? Have been diagnosed with depression in the past, but am not currently taking any meds. I truly dont believe I am depressed---have been and probably always will be eternally anxious, but am not depressed.
Have taken Serzone, Paxil, Zoloft, Effexor and Celexa but non of them have ever helped me regulate sleep. Am STILL sleeping 12+ hours a day....not very conducive to having a productive life.

Any advice is appreciated.

sleepy, are you getting a cold or work. Some people just need more sleep, I know I do. 8 hours is right for me but I can imagine 12 is cutting into your day. Maybe it's time for a check-up w/a reg doc and a pdoc. It wouldn't hurt, there are alot more meds on the market for you to try. I'll keep you in my thoughts....good luck.......pj56.......xxoo

Have been sleeping like this for 3 years!!
Dr.'s first thought was depression, but meds dont help.
Checked for hypothyroidism and am within normal range.
I am very frustrated.
My kids are late to school sometimes and everything.
Dont do drugs or anything and no one seems to understand or care how dysfunctional this is!

I wish I had some ideas for you, my counselor and nurse just tells me to set my alarm and make sure I get up, don't just lay, and start doing things so you don't lay back down.

I know it's a pain to sleep too much, that's all I want to do all the time. If I find out anyway to help I will let you know.
