I need a sign... somewhere, somehow, someone... please, please give me one... I want to hope again... I just don't think that I ever will. It's been hurting so much, for so long... I'm not sure this life was meant to be lived by me.

So is this world better off without me?

I think it would be... Is the world better off without me?

NO, the world would not be better off without you! Your family and friends would be heartbroken.

Everyone deserves a chance to live up to their potential. Sometimes that means reaching out for help like you have just done. It's a great start, but you really need to talk face to face with a qualified professional.

If you feel you can't control your behaviour, go to the nearest ER immediately. If you are absolutely certain you can last the night, call your family doctor or local mental health centre and explain your situation. Don't put off getting help. Trust me, it only makes things worse.

You've taken the first step. Only you know what you need to do to save your own life, even if it doesn't feel worthwhile right now.

Now take the next step -- get yourself some help. Get back to us once you've done that.

NO Danny,

The World would NOT be better off without you in it. That is a lie!!! Rliz wrote good advice to you, TAKE the advice, quickly.

You are a unique creation and there will never be someone ever who is just like you.

I'm sorry you feel so down and discouraged, can you look for someone to help you where you are?? When someone feels that life is useless like this then it shows you are too down and need some kind of help to get by.

There are sometimes crisis lines locally that can talk to you. Check on line for phone numbers and see if you can find a living voice to speak to. I will pray that you find help and hope to hang onto.

PS I've struggled with suicide thoughts before and I thank God that I did not act on them - because live got better and I"d have really messed up if I shortened my life.

(((((((((Danny)))))))))) a lot of us have had thoughts like these, but it can get better and I promise you that it will, but you need to tell someone, you need to ask for that extra bit of help and don't be ashamed by that, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
It pains me to know that other people are hurting and even though you don't know our faces or names everyone on this forum cares and to some degree understands. There'll always be someone to talk to.
You're not alone, please go talk to your doctor if you haven't done so.

Take care,
Molly

yes, we can come back from hardship and sorrow - a stronger person inside.

sometimes these experiences cleanse us. prepare us for the better road to take.

many here are lost, or were at one time, feeling disconnected.

you know the answer to that is to re-connect.

since it is so hard at times - people can use a therapist to help them get back on track, or on track for the first time.

see your md. if you like about a referral for your insurance, or go to a mental health center and maybe even join a free support group.

whatever you choose, it's going to be alright.

it's a start.

post here, we will motivate you and support you in your own endeavors to seek help or strengthen yourself through a healthier life - one you will embrace and be proud to have.

take it an hour or a day at a time. steady wins the race, remember.

let us know how you are doing.

keep posting

do you think a therapist is a good idea, have you ever tried it?

peace and comfort,
nightbird
