Im getting tired of hearing myself. But nothing is changing. I have been trying different things. Going for walks, listening to music, staying busy, anything to stay out of my head. I only see my social worker every 2-3 weeks. Im going through the motions. Thank you for all your ideas. It is helpful to know that im not alone. Sorry for repeating myself. But its just where im at. I just feel so cold, isolated, and dismal.as i sit all curled up in darkness and depths of the abyss.

*turns a light on* I'll sit with you... you are never alone
Any chance of speaking to your SW and asking to see him/her more frequently?
I'm so sorry you're hurting, wish I could take it away... I can offer you hugs and a listening ear though (or a reading eye! )
Take care,
Molly

Hugs to you my Steelers fan? Have you tried making a gratitude list? Like I am grateful for having 1o fingers and being able to walk. I can ride a motorcycle because of this. I'm grateful for my dog because we can go to the dog park and I can pet her soft ears. Something else is you could do something for someone else. You could go grocery shopping for them, walk their dog, pay someone a compliment. Take donuts to some business you visit all the time (or give the letter carrier or garbage man a soda)' Find someone to help. Contribute, rake leaves for some old person on your street. Maybe there is something you haven't tried.? You won't know until you try it out.
Thanks for this!

I know it's hard to see when you are in the depths of depression but you will come through this.

Hang on in there (((((((((( chrise )))))))))))

chrise, i'm sorry you are feeling so low. and kudos for trying to do some positive things like walking, etc. i know for myself when i'm down i muster up some hidden energy and go help someone else in need. i can't fully explain this but i do know that when i take the focus off me for a moment it tends to revive me. it could be in the form of helping others through volunteer work or just a neighbor that is elderly and can't get out much, for examples. i hope you have a better day tomorrow...and don't forget that we care about you and don't mind at all your talking about how you feel.
