Ever since last Wednesday when my husband told his brother about little Manda, she has been extremely quiet.
And then, two days ago according to my husband, I had a dissociative episode where I like completely passed out
for like 15 minutes and woke up and didn't know where I was. Ever since then, little Manda has has been missing.
I don't know if my episode just scared her really bad and now she's in hiding (and doing a good job at it) or if she's really missing. Or... is that what "missing" means? "in hiding"? I feel so lost without her. My heart is breaking for her.
I know she is afraid and lonely... wherever she is, because I feel afraid and lonely without her.

lil manda is still with you................sounds lke she might be hiding in your head somewhere until she feels safe to come out again.

T telled us during therapy one time when we had similare issue that he has NEVER read or heared of a case (DID) where a part just like permanently 'disappeared' or dies.....he says it cant happen cuz iffen one is gone then you is ALL gone.........hope this helps and makes snese...........cuz all of your parts are part of YOU

sometimes my parts get really quiet. it IS a lonely feeling and I wonder where everyone went....but they all turn back up eventually.

They go missing...but they come back eventually...I know this from experience.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, they might be ready to come back, but I'm not ready for them (Whatever "they" happen to be, whether pseudo hallucinations or co parts...) My denial system is pretty hardcore, and it's really hard to be stuck in the middle of those two things!

About alters going away for awhile, I know all about that. In fact before a few weeks ago, its been over a YEAR since I switched! Now, they are slowly coming back. Stupid stress! What's weird is that my trip was only starting on April 15th and ended on the 22nd (well actually very early on the 23rd like 1 AM or something) and it feels like I did that months ago! My sense of time is all distorted....everything seems so far away. Hope you find her soon. When mine went away for that period of time, I actually thought my DID was gone for good! In fact on another site I go to, I took DID off the diagnoses list (during that time, now of course it is back)! I never knew this is the normal course for DID (I don't know much about it, believe it or not!).

i agree with everyone else. no insider ever really goes away or disappears. all are part of you...part of the whole that is you. little manda is needing to have some time. for us meditation helps calm and listen and find who is hiding.

I am just sitting here thinking about her and I can feel tears building up in my eyes.
Goddess I miss her so much. And to think that for so long she was foreign to me,

Arrgh... for so long I hated changing, but now that I don't, it's like it's all I think about...

yes, but it is possible, sad to say. But like everone else has said, she probably just needs some time alone. I do so when I need to collect myself. She will turn up in good time, my dear.

I am wondering because if the answer is no maybe little Manda is not missing,
