Hi Jan, and thanks. I just feel like there is no time right now. I suppose I need to push myself a bit less.

Thank you Songbird

I did relax last night - had a bath and a very early night. Feeling exhausted again today though.

Caroline,

How about making a list of things you need to do and categorizing them: Have to do, Want to do, Would like to do

Then, you can check off the stuff you have to do and work on the others if you want. Putting it on paper might make it seem less tiring.

Hugs,
Songbird

Thanks songbird

I have a list. I use deadline dates for it. Can't really fit on any "would like to" items so I slot them in occasionally irl rather than ont he list.

((((( Caroline )))))))))

Those of us who have been abused often turn out to be perfectionists. We are often our own worst enemies because we make demands on ourselves that our bosses don't make. Please take care of yourself.

Hugs,

Jan

Thank you Jan.
Yes, this is something I am working on - and I think you are right that it is fed by my perfectionism. But I also have a LOT of demands from my bosses. The problem is that, when I am told I have to do something, I assume I *have* to do it. Other people seem to feel more able than I to say, *Sorry but I can't* or *Sorry but I didn't have time*. I always feel I ahve to meet the deadlines. Perhaps this current experience is going to force me to behave differently. But that in turn makes me feel very uncomfortable.

HOLY COW, Caroline

I feel the exact same way! I have often asked T why I feel that way and others don't. How come some people are comfortable with who they are and what they want to say and I am not?

If you find an answer, please share.

Hugs,
Songbird

Thanks, Songbird

If I find and answer I'll be sure to let you know. I'm not sure there is one to find, though.

Another day...
