My host wants me and the rest to write in a journal about what we do when we're out to "keep track ". I find it silly. I don't want someone to find our journal they would probably call the police on us. And our partner would read it. She worries about us. I don't know what we should do. Everyone thinks something is wrong with me anyway. I just wish I was comfortable with that sort of thing might be easier. Eugh...

I had a journal but I kept it on my computer so no one would find it. Now I write emails to my t. I don't send her all of them some I save as a draft. But all those emails and drafts have become a journal for me and no one can read them. It has helped me to write. I hope you work things out.

writing in journals is pretty standard therapy around here where I live and work, for all kinds of things including depression, PTSD, and dissociative disorders so yea I as host had to write in journals as did my alters.

I found that journal writing gave me and my alters a way to bring what was inside my head out, it also helped all (host and alters) to learn and understand what we went through, what memories each of us had, and it also helped each of us learn how to get along and work together as a team. we didnt have the luxury of co consciousness so my therapist, my alters and I had to rely on other ways to access the same things that co consciousness does with those that are able to be co conscious.

At first journal writing seemed like a chore for all of us but as time went on we enjoyed it.

give it a try. you wont know if it works for you unless you give it a try.
