having parts is not fun...having parts/other selves that decide they are going to battle against each other within my own head is worse...and its just those 2 particular teenage alters that always seem to try to mess things up...even when things seem bad anyway...they have a way of making it worse...and they are not getting quiet...and i know that quietness is a lot for me to ask...but i really think it would help a lot right now if i didnt have this war in my own mind...with these two...there are more...and my kids are terrified...they are all shaking and hiding in corners of theri rooms...and honestly...i dunno what to do for them anymore...and i am honestly at wits end...well...i am not sure what else to say...i dont want to feel like this anymore...well laterz all...

Is there a way you can ground yourself that would cause someone else to come forward and get the teenagers to stop arguing? Grounding helped me get out of circular thinking. At least for the moment. What does your t say?
Thanks for this!

Claritytoo...my T encourages me to go to my other appointment with my nurse practitioner...and she strongly encourages that if i need to to go to the hospital...not sure if that is something i wanna do though...
thank you...i am working on a lot of things right now...and grounding...is not going well...at all...i am working on doing some grounding...although...its hard when there is a lot of retaliation from others...i even did some mindfulness meditation last night...still restless as a bugger...

When I first learned about my others I didn't know what grounding was. I realized as time went on that I intuitively did things to comfort myself the others or to change my state of mind. Now my t has told me to use ice or something sour in place of what I had been doing. The ice works best. But there are also a lot of time when the alter who is present doesn't know or remember about the ice. It is complicated. Well I hope you are feeling better as time go on. Take care
