Ok I find at times there is never a dull moment with having alters. I do some really interesting things.

Tonight for dinner we had a few cherry tomatos. So then I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone and we ended up talking about ice cream. Then I remembered that I got some rocky road ice cream and some egg nog ice cream that was on sale yesterday. Lots inside was thinking oh we need to have some egg nog ice cream. It is really rich so you can't eat much of it. We had 2 bites of it. Then someone said oh I want some cottage cheese. So then they got the cottage cheese out and took 2 bites of it. LOL Nothing like really making my tummy gonna be feeling icky.

I took my meds tonight that don't really work. Hopefully will be able to get some sleep. Have to go vote tomorrow and do a few other things.

It is really interesting the things that they have me eat. It is things that I wouldn't think to stick together. At least it wasn't mixed all together, but just really odd to have tomatos then ice cream then cottage cheese. One time an alter had put peanut butter on a pickle. I thought it tasted gross, but they didn't. They liked it. Ewwwww. LOL

MY experiences with this

- I - do the same thing only when - I'M - not aware. When - I - hear the voices talking about food -I - can choose to eat that or not because - I - am aware. but when - I'M - off floating in la la land - I - don't know what is physically going on. - I - usially come back to a half eaten peanutbutter and jelly sandwhich in one spot in the house and a plate of half eaten spegetti on the table, scrambled eggs on a plate at that place on the table and so on.

-I - have managed to curb this activity by making sure when - I - am aware - I - follow the dietary plan that MY doctor has me on, if -I'M - not hungry and have not missed any of MY meals MY body isnt lacking in vitamins and so on and MY stomach isn't empty so those memory pieces that contain eating food dont get triggered into replaying out of MY body needing to up - MY - iron and so on and compensate for hunger pains from not eating when aware. Basically -I -follow the rule that taking care of - ME -when aware takes care of what goes on when not aware if - I'M- not hungry then there is nothing triggering - ME - to act out eating unconsciously.

(not yelling just making sure MY -I - statements are visable and clear)

Cookies dipped in Mashed potatoes for us, made for an icky tummy...UGH !.... Interesting with alters

Sometimes the pattern lasts awhile before an alter will give up the control of the food issue..other times one(s) will stop eating all together and will end up on IV's... Interesting with alters

Oh no cookies with mashed potatos I think you mentioned that to me before. That doesn't sound to tasty. It is interesting the things that they have me do or when I'm not aware that they have been out and what they eat. Icky......someone is right now wanting something but don't know what. This post made me think of one of the biggest problems I have. When I go out to eat somewhere I know what I want to order. My order comes and it's completely different from what I wanted. My H will look at me and say " well that's what you said you wanted". I never end up getting what I wanted to eat, someone else inside does.

LOL not laughing at you. I do the same thing. It is never the same thing and I'll plan something for dinner and it is something totally different than what I planned.

Littles like peanutbutter and marshmallow fluff sandwhiches or pretzels dipped in peanut butter and fluff--we always know because the table has fluff all over it and peanut butter jar is open. unless vicki makes it for them.
strangest combination has been whatever in whatever order at supper--and an upset stomach and hangover in the morning.

we've tried keeping a notebook and have everyone write down what they are eating. we wonder why the weight gain???

I find evidence of raw noodles having been eaten here often, especially if I let myself get too hungry or am using no food as a punishment to self... Too much of a trigger I guess. I do know that raw noodles were often stolen and eaten as a child due to not being allowed food at times.

I do better if I make sure I don't get too hungry though. I have come back and noticed wrappers or containers or half eaten combinations of weird things though.

Here, as far as things noticed, I more notice if things are an aversion, like some foods that were force fed or disliked as a child. When I see them, I have a strong negative reaction to them. I want so desperately to notice the urges to eat fun things but can't seem to get there yet. But one day. Interesting with alters It all just takes time.
