despite trying and trying and trying, i've not been able to build up a picture of things i like, but i have plenty of likes/ interests drawn up for the individual insiders
i know michelle likes broadway musicals, i know alicia likes disney, i know that our eldest, vivian, likes to learn about history (and especially the war), etc etc etc etc. but it's tough.. i can't think of anything for me personally |

Same here...I often wonder what it is that "I" like, and not be influenced by others. I for instance, inquired about going back to school and applied, but cant get myself to follow thru with registering for classes and stuff. I dont have much time if I want to do it classes start Jan 8. And then I have also re-arranged my living room and kitchen twice and just moved in a month ago. i cant get cooperation with my system. they are teens, pre teens and toddlers, there seems to be only one or two adults maybe an ANP but unsure of that right now since this system is different from the ones that were around in the summer. sorry didnt mean to get off topic.. but yeah I would like to know what is ME.

thanks for this post, and i do hope you get to apply for what you're after (hugs) i am also hoping you can find yourself, as it were. find something that interest you, and you alone. i often worry that because i can't think of anything, i'm just going to vanish from the radar, as it were (or in simpler terms, unable to recognize myself as a person) and not be part of the system (though i'm the host). but i'm sure what i'm saying makes sense to you at teddybear, it's a good suggestion. just somehow wish i could apply it |

Our hobbies are dominated by the one playing host at the time. My/our hobby is this psychology thing with me as a test subject because I make a great nut job.
This one hits too close to home that it's pretty much a mental obsession at this point. I'm sure we'll get bored with this soon enough and move on, hopefully....we usually do. It seems like for each hobby, skill, function, elective, area of expertise, job, there is an other to perform it, do it, operate it, function it....not so much an other has a hobby, but the hobby has an other for it. Does this make sense? |
