Yes. I would consider it. I don't think I would be very good at it though.

Do you have any real life children?

Yes, two. Both girls and both know about Sonseearae.

Oh shucks, now the part that gets me to skip answering these questions cause I can't think of one to ask...hmmm...hmmm...

My alter told me her name - is that your experience too (for those with names)?

Yes, mostly. There are one or two for whom we have given a new name, because their original names were not very nice. And a couple we have names because they just didn't have one. But mostly each had their own name. Often times we have found later on that alters names are quite punny in relation to their job or purpose. We don't usually realize that until we get to know them better. My real name (alter me, that is) is not Luce, and I only realized just this very day there is a pun in my own name. The implications are quite heavy, unfortunately.

Kinda keep our faith to ourselves. Yeah.
(Apologies in regards to the name.)

How does your system feel about people who falsely claim they have D.I.D. in order to justify their wrong doings?

No, though I would say that my spirituality is the singular focus of my life. I just wrote my second book (first is published second not yet), and it is a spiritual fantasy for young adults. My publisher said he thought it was a philosophical cross between The Chronicles of Narnia and The Karate Kid.

How do you react/cope when people accidentally find out about your dissociative disorder?

1st question: I've never known anyone to falsely claim they have DID in order to justify their wrong-doings. I do think DID is more common than most people realize. I think this though: if someone is falsely saying they have DIDt o justify their wrongdoings I think it is just symptomatic of a greater ill... of a person who is severely dysfunctional.

2nd question: As far as I know nobody has ever accidentally found out about our DID. In RL DID friends from years ago know, and about 4 of our 10+ therapists (most were very short term). Nobody else.

I think having a thread in the garden like this one would be great, asking fun questions/ questions littles can answer.

you don't need to ask anyone, i'd just start it

my littles would love it.

The best part of the whole entire year by far has been this last week getting moved away from that horrible woman at work and finding our friend again. the whole year has been awful and two good life changing things happen in one week its too good to be true.
what has been the best part of the last week for you?
Thanks for this!

making alicia happy by putting on some lion guard episodes for her
if we can't be happy, at least making someone else in the system happy is something.

what are your weaknesses as a system

hehe our greatest weakness by far is our dissociation.
Denial is a big problem here.

What are your greatest strengths?

Our greatest strength is that we pull together when we need to. What is your systems greatest strength?

we can all discuss something before making a system wide disision.

do you ever wonder what the hell you are doing with your day?. their could be 100 things better to do, and you end up doing something not as important?

Super busy! I am at an out of town meeting today and then flying to Washington DC for another meeting. Meeting Sat and then flying back, arriving at 9:30 pm and then driving 3 hours home. Sunday is church and then a nap!

Do you like to travel?

I do not like traveling nearly as much as I like to have traveled. (motion sickness, anyone?)

Can you name some countries you have visited?

use to be dismissive to most compliments, but now we are leaning to try to respond with a smile and a simple 'thanks!'

what is your favorite flavour of ice cream?
Thanks for this!
