It's called the hidden disorder for good reason.

Hope your session went well, trailrunner.

How true! But, there's the quote I read yesterday that jumped off the page at me.

"What is hidden can never be healed."
- Brennan Manning

I find that to truly be the case here and right now. I'm so thankful for my counselor and how he is helping me see this and try and understand it.

It was a good session. Truthful and grounding, as he helped me piece things I couldn't get a grip on back together.

That actually crossed my mind. It made a part of me uneasy because there was no telling what Google would come up with.

There is a concern it may be some frightening results. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll hang on to it until later when my feet are a bit more steady.

I do Active Imaginations often - dream work has been a big part of my therapy. For anyone's who's interested, there's a good book my t recommended to me a long time ago about Active Imagination, by Robert Johnson, called "Inner Work: using Dreams and Active Imagination for Personal Growth". I usually do them sitting at my computer with my eyes closed and typing them as I go. I'm quite often amazed at the wisdom that comes out of them that I didn't even know was inside of me.
