hey. my name is luns (they/them pronouns). i'm the host of a small osdd system. we have an open room available, and i was wondering if there's any sites, forums, or resources that could possibly help us find another system who could room with us? i want my system to be able to feel comfortable, and be themselves without having to worry about wasting our very limited energy on masking as me, so i thought reaching out like this would be my best bet. even if anyone on here, preferably in their mid-20s and who's afab or fem-presenting (we're a mid-20s, afab, fem-presenting body. we'd feel most comfy with someone who's the same ^^'), is from the southern us and needs a room? thanks in advance!

contact your treatment providers, they will be able to refer you to social services, and other agencies that work with people with mental illness that need help finding a place to live. for example since you are specifically looking for a place to live with other mentally ill people your medical or mental health treatment provider can help you get placed in a group home or residential specifically set up for mentlally and physically disabled people. |

@ozlice
Thanks for posting. I hope you find someone you're comfortable with. I know it can be difficult living with people. I've had a lot of therapists and at least out here there is zero chance any mental health treatment provider will be able to find you a DID roommate. So yes, this and a few other places are you're only hope to finding someone. You can try DID facebook groups and the comment areas in DID videos on youtube. Just look out for some of the FB groups because some of the mods are ruthless. |

we're not trying to advertise anything. we've only recently come to terms with being a system, and don't yet know avenues to meet people, and find community, so we're trying to reach out to the few we could find on google. we know other systems have managed to find roommates, and we're not sure of how, so we thought reaching out to system-centric forums would be a safe bet to learn. we don't need to be in a group home or anything, we already have a room, we're just trying to seek out people within our community to fill it. this is a support forum, we are asking for help and support :/
