Right now I'm going through a period of not eating... hardly anything at all. I go through these period sometimes, last time was earlier in the summer and before that, in 2003 as far as I remember, though I think it's strange that I would not have done it last summer too but I was still struggling a lot from depression then.

Anyway, I'm going out for a meal with a guy tomorrow and I so do not want to eat, maybe I'll just have a drink or something. idk why it is that I'm starving myself, sometimes it is self-punishment but most of the time I do just because Not eating ... and then in a week or so I'll be seeing the dr re: my meds and I am sure she will ask me what my eating is like since she always does since I've been dxed with depression... but then maybe I'll be eating normally by then, my restricting usually goes on for a couple of weeks and then I get bored with it because it causes quite a lot of hassle and inconvenience. And I haven't even lost much weight Not eating about 10lb in 2 weeks... ah well, I'm just having a moan here Not eating I'm a bit concerned because I know my eating is not normal but I think it will probably be ok in a couple of weeks or so...

((((((((((((Silver))))))))))))))) You have to start eating.
When you do eat-make it count. Eat those nutritional bars or nutritional shakes with all of the vitamins. Take a daily multi-vitamin, too.
If you become malnutrioned then you'll feel tired and icky.
Tell your doctor about this. Don't hide it from him. He can't help you if you don't let him know.
You must be concerned about it or you would not have posted about it. Please, tell your doc and make sure you get plenty of vitamins and minerals in the meantime.

I looked up mcDonald's salads online, they have a lot of calories and a lot of salt. I just had a drink of coke, the guy didn't turn up, so it didn't matter that I ate nothing anyway.

Yeah, I do the same. I just go through periods where I can't stand to eat anything. I'm not sure if it is a depression thing or what it is.

I'm not anorexic technically because I know I am too thin (says the p-doc). I just can't eat sometimes. I've been trying to force myself lately because of the medical problems.
