Ok - here it comes again.... feeling low (and) now all I want to do is to EAT everything that is in the house.... as to fill the endless pit of ( ____?____ ) whatever it is that stirring around inside of ME.

All I can say is " " " I know, I know, I know " " "

Why does eating help? I will never understand.

I don't know what you have stirring around inside you, but I just feel terribly empty inside, and the next thing you know I feel the need to eat. The smiley faces with the chocolate were hysterical!!!! Chocolate does help with depression.

Hugs,

I know how this feels, all of you. I'm more like Sabrina, but I also eat to fill.. well, not exactly emptiness but more boredom or stress.

We don't keep ANY junk food around the house, so when I feel like eating out of boredom/stress, I make myself walk to the store to get it. It's not far -- about a 10 minute walk, but my theory is that the 20 minute roundtrip walk has got to offset at least some of the calories... Eating it All - ( sad )

hang in there...

LMo -

It would probably take me 2 hours round trip to walk to the store, and it would be dangerous since there are no sidewalks.

No not yet................. that is in another 2 weeks - I do not eat so much then.... just CHOCOLATE - not much of any thing else the first day.... today's eating was inner feelings that had no name and yet packed a powerful punch.

Jax, I'm the same way around my period. i get cravings for chocolate and cheese (especially melted cheese), but not together, LOL!

But I crave stuff all the time. I asked my bf to get me some of my favorite ice cream tonight, which is Dove Chocolate and Brownie Affair (actually, it's their toffee flavor, but I haven't seen that in a while, and my teeth are bad and don't respond well to crunching the toffee pieces), but he didn't get it. He had his own ice cream in the freezer--he usually buys two gallons of it when we go grocery shopping; if I get any, I usually only get one gallon of whatever kind I get. I shouldn't be eating this junk, but you guys know how it can make you feel better, and how the cravings are hard to resist.

Anyway, I can't stop thinking about that ice cream. I want it so bad, and I have no way to get it. I'm mad. Eating it All - ( sad )

I hid my scale under my bed. And tried to forget about it. But I kept stubbing my toe on it. I also took my tape measure (it was really old) and snipped into hundreds of pieces.

None of these things helped as much as eating nothing but fruit and salad the last two days. Still ... the scale can just die!

I don't have a scale I can use anymore. I have one in the kitchen (our bathroom's so small, it took up too much space, LOL!), but it's gotten covered in flour and dirt and stuff, so now I don't want to touch it because of my OCD.

I don't want to know what I weigh now. I'm sure it's around, if not over, 230 lbs. If I really get serious and stick to losing weight (I get serious, but keep going back to eating the wrong stuff), I'd like to know how much I weigh at the start, though, so I know exactly how much I lose when I get to my goal weight.

I have my ice cream now. Eating it All - ( sad )

Hey, my mom used to make milkshakes for breakfast. With ice cream. She called it eggnog. I guess it usually had eggs in it too. And my aunt ate chocolate chip sandwiches for lunch or snacks (a piece of buttered bread, with chocolate chips, rolled up).

I guess I come by it honestly. All I eat is sugar some days.

My dad taught me how to make milkshakes without ice cream. Obviously, they weren't as thick, but they tasted good.

I make milkshakes alot but dont use Ice cream - I use frozen yogurt. or sorbet or sherbert. You can find them in the ice cream section of the grocery store.
