Ok, so I'm not diagnosed with anything but I know that something isn't right.

Whenever I eat I've started to only be able to eat a few fork fills and then have to stop for a while. Kinda to let it settle in my stomach so I have no chance of eating to much.

I enjoy feeling hungry.

I'm constantly looking for ways to burn calories

And I feel really guilty after eating - to the point where a few times it's made me vomit.

I don't know what's going on

Well, Jebo, I think you ought to make an appt with a doctor and tell him/her what is going on. Whether it is mental or physical you need to take care of the problem now that you know you have it.
Thanks for this!

. Hello dear Jebo and I'd like to wish you a very warm WELCOME to Psych Central, for its a really good and supportive place to be. It also is somewhere you may find supportive friends regarding your possible eating disorder. Hopefully this is new to you and as Jelly-bean said, it's best to catch any disorder early on, the longer it goes on, the harder it is to change things.I know because sadly I have had a severe eating disorder for 33 years and it has done a lot of phyical damage. Just have a look around this site because there may be other things which interest you. Eating disorders tend to bring other problems forward, for me this has meant disturbed sleep, depression and feeling isolated. I'd certainly make an appointment with your health worker/your GP and see what they can advise. Do let us know how you got along. X

The thing with ED's also is that there can be things from one's past that we don't even realize that can be triggering the feelings & thoughts & the ED happens to look not even related to what happened but has it as the foundation.......

Many with ED's have CSA or a trauma in their background. That is why it's important to have a T to talk to about what is going on & what is causing you to feel this way.....but when one peals back the layers, & can process those issues the ED can at times be resolved even though at times it's triggers itself when weight loss starts.

Hopefully you will be able to deal with what's at the foundation of what you are experiencing & get the help you need
