Stress...

played such a significant roll that I didn't eat for 42 hours...I'm not proud of this...just pissed off at myself...during the last months before I left my former wife...I lost 40 lbs in 3 weeks as the stress consumed me...I write here as I would probably be considered a compulsive over eater...then to the other extreme of not eating at all...stressed to the max...forgetting to eat and then deliberating forgetting...or rewarding myself for a day well done...

I had some lunch today then dinner with the kids...smaller amounts then usual...people have notices me not taking lunches...easy to explain as there is work to be done...or I didn't sleep well so I missed breakfast...the stress is consuming me and I'm finding all the negative familiar things to use...

What a hypocrite I am...

(((Direction))) I don't consider you a hypocrite at all!

It is very "easy" to lose track of eating... for a ton of reasons! I struggle with it myself when stress is up. It's one of the things that happen, one of the things that stress does to me, too.

I'm sorry you are struggling.

Try and find a way to do better self care. Make it as easy on yourself as you can (I keep apples and pretzels handy) so you can have something to eat at least.

Try to have something every 2 hours... and drink your water too. This is one of those times when a list or some reminder can help you do what you really know is best. Good wishes!

We are all trying to "balance" ourselves. One day does not a whole life make; you can work on eating well each day; some days you will do better than others. That doesn't make you all one thing or all another. Sounds like you know where your weaknesses are, work with yourself to get healthy, including reducing the stress.
