I am so frusterated. Been proud that I haven't purged in a long time. Was out having lunch with the hubby. This man was sitting at the next table with his niece and nephew trying to figure out things on the menu. We had been there many times before, so we made some suggestions and showed him what we were eating. The children were excited that there were french fries on the menu. Hubby and I were sharing a plate. Just as I was putting one into my mouth, he told the children they couldn't have any fries because 'fries are evil'. For some reason that stuck with me, and as my husband took an afternoon nap I made myself sick. I didn't want any 'evil fries' sitting in my belly. It is true, they are not good for you. Either is purging. I am back to normal now.

Dazed and Confused,
Do not be too hard on yourself. Every day is a new page full of possiblities. So you slipped up? Take your moment to feel bad for yourself and then think about how tomorrow is a new day to try to fight it again.

Thankyou shakes. I am doing much better today. I find if I don't binge, I don't feel like purging. But then I end up not eating hardly anything and then eat too much. In my head I am thinking: I have gained so much weight (I am overweight) and if I start depriving myself begining in October and carry it through to December I will look so much better.' I actually did a 10 day water fast a few months ago and enjoyed the end result. It was to detoxify, and lose 'instant' weight.
