I think I've totally messed up my metabolism. I'm eating healthy and exercising and i lose no weight at all. Is there anything I can do? I don't want to stay discouraged as i have gone one full week without B&P.

ev, I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but I think the best thing is to give it a little time. You're doing the right things, and if you keep that up, then your body will recover. But it may take a little time for your system to regain the balance that was upset by the B&P.

Try to focus on how you feel rather than what you weigh. Maybe even just stay off the scale for a month, so you can think about your overall health, not just a number. Also, in addition to eating healthy and exercising, do make sure you get enough sleep, and drink plenty of water. They are just as important to a healthy lifestyle as food and exercise are.

And finally...keep up the good work!!! help for my metabolism

(((esther))))) Please try and feel good about yourself just for the healthy eating and extra excercise! It's a way of life, and will eventually keep you alive longer and healthier... btw maybe all the changes in your diet and program caused your tolerances to lower and make you sick? I know going to healthy food helps your body throw out the toxins that have built up... and sometimes it's pretty intense... keep at it...

I found that hot peppers, ground or fresh, cayenne pepper or such helps to increase my metabolism... I always lose weight the week I eat pizza with hot peppers!

Changing your routine a little can help too. You know, changing workouts to burn different calorie levels, different intensities and different things doing at different levels.

Congratulations on recovery. ^_^ That's cool.
