I am in the midst of another "spot" w/ an MPD "alter" that is threatening to land us in the morgue. I am physically weak at the moment; and at the end of today, I am mentally/emotionally drained to the point of just saying, "Fine... "

Did everyone get cured in the last 24 hours? Am I alone again???

I really thought that everybody had gone...it looked like the postings were deserted! (dread panic!)

"Therese" (the suicidal, ED alter) met w/ T & struck up a deal because he practices a lot of EMDR w/ us when we're working things thru... They are little tiny "vibrating" (head out of the gutter, girl! )discs that alternate back in forth from palm of hand to other palm of hand....am I confusing things? When "she" holds the discs to her right and left temples...closes her eyes....she says she almost feels like she "could float" That's why years ago (13?)when we were severely ana...she insisted on continuing to lose weight so she could "float" Remember, she's the one I told you thought she was "celestial"?

ANYWAY!!!Last time we met w/ T, he said he'd order her a set of these things (you actually need to be trained in EMDR & be a Dr in order to order them) and we could pay him back on a short "payment plan" (I'm unemployed?)

SO...the rest of us have stuck to a semi-liquid diet since; now she's.....upset.....because we gained a few lbs. (3) So, she's purging like a crazy woman in every way possible.

I'm not getting sleep or nutrition, so I thought I'd look into the "ED Dept" out of desperation & didn't see anything and panicked!

I've heard of the EMDR, never done it, but have heard of it. Sounds like it might work with her. How long will it take to get them??? I understand not having any money, I work for the state, so I never have any. And right now I'm putting my hubby thru college. So I'm always broke. So about the no sleep. Do you do relaxation things??? You're really good people, Monty....... I hope that you doing the "comfort food" thing won't get you into a hassle w/ other "alters" like mine....she's still purging us dry Get the that you need right now, too. It's a part of the "healing process," ya know?

I have an eating disorder as well. It's hard and then sometimes finding out that you haven't eaten in a while, feeling full and not knowing you ate, having a sore throat and not quite sure if "you" got rid of stuff even while "knowing" it's true kinda. And then of course the times that I do all the bad stuff to myself. Ugh.

You may be experiencing a "quiet period" and/or have a bit of a relapse But keep posting! It is essential that you both keep talking

That's the most factor in recovery! TALK IT OUT!!! Even it's just letting the rest of us help you by giving you all our 100% "sage" feedback!!!

All of you fellow Eder's "out there"! Jump on in here & just lets help each other work it all out! You don't have to just work it out w/ yout T (although THAT is VITAL!)We're not shrinks.......but we're all going through this stuff together Maybe on different levels...but w/ and picking each other's brains WE CAN ALL SUCCEED!!!!! All it takes is a short post; hang on in there people...WE CAN DO IT!!!!
