I had been maintaining around 161.6 for a couple weeks. This morning I got up to 163. I readjusted my calories on my calorie app to 1200. I want to get back to 158. I ate around 1250 calories today including a protein shake and a protein cookie and 2 pieces of tilapia. So I've had a lot of protein. I'm having the same issue I've run into a few times before. Waking up at 1AM or before hungry and thirsty and unable to get back to sleep unless I eat or drink between 150-280 calories. Plus its pumpkin spice latte season which gets me each year. I did get to the store on Monday and I stocked up on protein bars, protein cookies, and protein chips among other stuff. I find the protein cookies to be really filling. Seeing the 2050 number on the fitness app messed with my brain a bit. Seeing the 1200 calorie number is better

Dewed - have you seen the youtube series Supersize vs superskinny? Two people trade diets for a few days. They also receive a personaluzed diet. I find it really interesting.

167.9 today, and I was 170 on Saturday. I think I might have been retaining water Saturday though. Don't think I lost 2 pounds of fat.

Is that a british show?

I remember being interested in something awhile ago that was only on Youtube but it may have been a show called secret eaters or something where an overweight person claims skinny people can eat whatever they want to and not gain weight and then they secretly follow that person around for the day and find out how they truly eat. Or something along those lines.

Idk. There was something like that I wanted to watch.

I was 160.8 today. So far today I had a chicken dunks Lunchable without the Oreos for breakfast, a Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell for brunch and some tilapia for lunch. I also had a can of Coke and a Premier protein shake. I'm at 1,080 calories, 79 grams of protein, 111 carbs, and 1,760 mil of sodium. I guess it wasn't totally healthy, but I met my protein goal and I'm under my carbs and sodium goal. Mexican pizzas are not as terrible as you think they are.

I was 163.4 and I had enough so I threw out my zofran and pepcid this morning. I figured out the other day that they were the culprit of my increased hunger. The Zofran has done it before, it depends on the generic and I got the hungry generic this time. So far today I've just had my normal food staples. Lunchables, apple sauce, and protein products. I tried an iced coffee I didn't like and I had my usuaul morning Coke and an iced tea with Splenda. I'm around 1200 calories for the day.

I'm around 1300 calories today which isn't too bad considering my lack of activity level. I was 161.8 today. Just a bit over 3 pounds to go before I'm back at 158.6

I was doing so well until I got COVID in August and then then had my vacation as soon as I was well, so it's been hard to get back into the routine. Now I'm exactly a month out from going to the conference I'm presenting at and I'm determined to get some weight down so I can fit back into a few things and feel comfortable while presenting.

I've been doing well slowly getting back on the healthy routine, and feeling quite good about it now. I need to accountable and check in daily on this thread.

With Fall upon us, now the days are getting shorter which means I have to rearrange my work and life schedule again to be able to train outside (both myself and Andy) during daylight, and work at different times.

I can do this though. I can.

I think I'm around 159 now. I don't really know. I switched brands of both stomach meds and melatonin which has lowered my appetite. Then I lowered my calories on my app down to 1200 and I've been sticking between there and 1400. Plus I think a medical issue I've had before is coming back. And that always lowers my appetie pretty significantly until I get it taken care of. But anyways my weight is heading back down again.

I was 160 today. My therapist wants me to put on weight but I don't really feel like its necessary.

I asked my mom what she thought and she said a few extra pounds on a male frame may not be that bad.

Idk.

I’m keeping active, most importantly I’m enjoying running again so I think my anemia might be better. My mood has seemed better generally.

I actually put weight on though as I was eating a lot of chocolate which wasn’t healthy, it was emotional eating tbh. I’m doing better this last week though and having healthier food.

I took a few pictures of myself yesterday and I didn't really look very good. From any angle I looked too skinny. I was out of my house all day and I got some looks from people I don't normally get. They didn't make me uneasy. They were almost like worried? Looks.

Today I'm not very hungry but what I am eating is okish. I'm having tilapia for dinner which is super healthy.

I weighed a lot less at the doctors with my clothes shoes and jacket on then I would have at my house with all that stuff. So I'm not sure if its my scale. My clothes are very loose though and people are still saying I look too skinny. So I don't know. Today I've had about 1230 calories and yeah a lot of it was in drinks again. I did have a can of chicken noodle soup and a Gatorade though.

My psychiatrist prescribed Metformin to help me lose some of the weight I've gained on the antipsychotics I'm on. (I'm 168 lbs right now). Of course in conjunction with eating healthier and exercising I'm hoping to lose about 50 lbs in the next year or so then maintain. I think 110-115 lbs is good for my height 5 ft 4. That was my starting weight but gained over the past couple years due to not exercising and eating unhealthily.

Last time I was on metformin I lost 25 lbs in conjunction with eating healthy and exercising. So I'm hoping it helps again.

My energy levels are so much better, I went back (I was vegetarian for over a year) to eating some meat and fish, only a few times a week, I think even with the best intentions I may have been nutrient deficient. I’m now able to exercise like I used to, and when I exercise more I notice I tend to make healthier food choices. I haven’t binged on chocolate this week although I had a couple of small treats.

Mostly though I’m eating home cooked food and avoiding the processed stuff.

I was close to 164 the other day thanks to some meds I don't use anymore. I had been using generic pepcid, now I'm using name brand pepcid and I haven't had much of an issue. Now I'm back to 161.6. I was getting harped on by my mom and my therapist about needing to gain weight when I was 163 last week. So I'll probably get it some more now. To be honest I do look a bit unhealthy right now but it may just be the other stuff I have going on. I am eating better though. I've been eating more soups and I've been eating tilapia almost every night for dinner and I don't eat tic tacs anymore and I've been eating fewer Lunchables. I've also been drinking more Gatorade instead of soda which is what I need right now.

Weighed myself, still exactly the same!!! Even tho my eating has been all over the place. This is the weight i stopped at when i lost weight (40 lbs) 20 years ago, and it has me believing in setpoint.

Ive been on a soup kick too. I wonder if its the cooler weather? Idk. I put too much water in a mac and cheese cup the other day, and it tasted like italian butter soup.

Down to 166 lbs , in the past few weeks I’ve gone from 174 lbs down to 166lbs, so that’s a big improvement.

Getting on the treadmill later today

Today sucked regarding my eating. I had 1240 calories and of those calories was 3 glasses of caffeine free Coke. My stomach hurt most of the day and I just didn't feel like eating much in general. Hopefully tommorow will be better. I was 162. Something today. I don't really have a weight loss goal anymore. I just don't like going over 163. So I guess right around 160 is what I like. Every picture I see of myself I'm satisfied with how I look if not a bit concerned. So idk. My therapist and my mom aren't too happy but thats their issue.

I like ginger soda. Theres a hibiscuious ginger beer that Target makes thats pretty good.

Today I was 161.6. I had a couple glasses of caffeine free Coke. What I thought equaled to an entire purple sweet potato. I wasn't sure since all 3 were cooked at one time last night so I just eye balled what I thought was a whole one. Then I got a small pumpkin chai latte from Dunkin Donuts. Mcdonalds came out with their Halloween bucket happy meals today. I ate most of the small order of fries and I ate the 6 piece nuggets. Dinner will be 3oz of pot roast. I'll be around 1400 calories for the day.

I was 161.2 today. So far today, for breakfast I've had a nitro Pepsi, a couple bites of a purple sweet potato, and a cookie dunks Lunchable. I wasn't in the mood much for anything but the Lunchable. I see my therapist today and I'll discuss things with her.
