I’m impressed with your running daily Seesaw, I never managed that even at my fittest. I do know what you mean about your body being used to early morning running though, I’ve tried different times of day but running first thing works best for me, I don’t eat before hand - actually I think that helps with fat burning (read that somewhere).

Unfortunately I start work really early too so can’t run beforehand (I’m up at 5am as it is) so non working days are my only option.

My eating has been consistently better recently and I’m really into overnight oats at the moment, I thought I didn’t like them but it turns out it was the soaking in milk I didn’t like, they taste better soaked in water IMO and I don’t seem to get hungry mid morning when I eat them for breakfast.

I'm back to my normal dieting. What a professional may call restricting. Only because my stomach is messed up again because of this heat wave. I had to go out in it because I am out of bottled water and I am almost out of Slim Fast and protein shakes. What I did eat wasn't the greatest. I'll try to make it up if I can stomach anything else today.

Today was pretty good. 1,211 calories. 82 grams of protein. 125 carbs. 1,203 mil of sodium. I'm in between trying to lose more and also maintaining at 157. I'm being told 2 different things on the mental health side and then on the physical health side of things. No one is really asking what I want though.

I had around 1200 calories, 71 grams of protein, 131 carbs, and 1,734 mil of sodium. I had my ususaul soda when I woke up and then a protein shake and an apple sauce for breakfast. I got a medium diet Coke with cream from Sonic. I had a grilled cheese for lunch and I wasn't sure on the calories so I just put it at 520. Then I had another apple sauce and a Slim Fast for dinner. So I basically just followed a loosely Slim Fast like diet. 2 protein shakes, one meal of my choice, then 3 or so snacks.

People think they know whats going on with my weight loss and eating habits, but they really don't.

I was 157.6 yesterday and I guess at this point I'm just trying to maintain. For right now. Half my shirts are hanging off me and I had to get new jeans. I'm not sure how much smaller I can get. Plus I'm getting a lot of crap from my therapist about my weight. So I had a cheat day yesterday and when I weighed myself this morning I was 161.2. Then today I got back on track. I figured 6 days of dieting and one cheat day will help me maintain the 157.

I was 163 yesterday. Today I was 161.2. I think now I'm back under 160. I want to get back to 157 before my trip on Tuesday. I plan on mostly eating my own stuff but theres some stuff I do want to eat.

This last week has been a slight dip in that the dreaded sciatica came back, just a twinge, but after a year of debilitating pain I’m very nervy around any signs of it recurring. So I only ran twice, and I’ve cut the yoga because I suspect it may have been the yoga that tweaked it.

Hey Mountaindewed hope you don’t mind my saying but it’s really normal for weight to fluctuate day to day like that, all sorts of things play into it, fluid retention etc. It’s generally recommended to have one weigh day a week, same day, same time.

I was 159.6 today. Same yesterday too. I'm glad to be almost back to 157. Although the way I did it maybe wasn't the best. I did get a small popcorn chicken and a pretzel twist from Sonic which was my first real meal in 3 days. I don't really get what my issue is. Iike I take pictures of myself and I look in the mirror and I don't look bad. So I don't get what my deal is honestly.

I was 158.2 today. Yesterday I googled best teas for weight loss and saw oolong and green tea as the top 2. So I got a few boxes and I had 2 mugs of green tea, and I don't know. It seems to have worked. I had another 2 mugs this morning for breakfast along with some pumpkin bread and a Slim Fast. I'm not sure what I'll have for the rest of the day. I'm getting some pumpkin spice protein shakes delivered today. I'm one of those weird people who likes pumpkin spice in the middle of August.

Cookies and ice cream (separately!) have been my downfall this week, I did want to cut sugar.

Got out for some runs and sciatica calmed back down so that’s good. I still have a funny mental battle before I go for a run but going first thing helps me, less time to contemplate.

I've really been moving around these last 3 days. Walking a ton. Walking up and down stairs multiple times a day. Really moving and also watching what I've been eating. I weighed myself and the scale was the same. I took a few pictures and theres a difference. I know I can build muscle crazy fast but it is still annoying that the scale didn't go down. My uncle even commented that I looked great as we were leaving instead of when we got there. Like he didn't notice because it didn't happen until today. So I don't know. Maybe I did just build some muscle.

Thing is, you’re likely to look better/fitter when you exercise because you’ll get more toned even if you don’t lose weight. Plus also being active can energise you further and give you a glow/improve mood even.

Yeah I noticed that. I weighed myself around 12:30 this morning and I was 158.6. If I had waited until 6 I probably would have been more like 157 but I wanted a middle of the night soda. I noticed though today in the mirror I am looking more toned then I was before. Maybe a bit on the scrawny side but I don't think I look terrible. At least according to myself. I know other people are telling me not to lose anymore.

I have decided to just maintain my weight. Stay around 158. Every time I look in the mirror or take a picture or have my mom take a picture I like what I see and I don't think I need to lose more. I'm actually pretty happy with what I see for the most part. I am a size 32 in pants and there are only a couple brands of shirts I can wear that aren't too big.

Also I've been getting a lot of comments about how young I look. How I look more like a teenager then an almost 30 year old. I can't help my body shape or my facial features. Those comments bother me. It doesn't help when people say "just enjoy it while you can."

My plan is pretty much what I've been doing. 6 days around 1300 calories and then one free day. I still can't eat a lot in general due to my meds.

Ah, sorry you feel bothered by those comments Mountaindewed, they’re probably meant to be complimentary. Maybe you have good skin? Often that makes people look younger.

This last week I did okay for exercise, jogged two mornings but a lot of walking and my job is physical and has been full on. On balance I think that’s okay but really looking forward to getting back to swimming in a week or so.

I don't understand those memes with no picture just a caption that say something along the lines of "I'll spend $40 on a meal but I won't spend $40 on a shirt."

I don't get it. Why would someone rather have one $40 meal instead of a shirt they will get to keep wearing?

My eating kinda sucked today but I think I ate enough to maintain. I was 159.6 today.

Everyone is losing their **** with me all of a sudden. Yeah Sheila I can see it too. Yet I'm still 159 so I don't know where the drastic difference came from. Anyways I got my weekly shot today so I am not hungry from that but I'm worried I'll be admitted to the hospital at my pdocs appointment tommorow if I don't legit eat quite a bit in the next 24 hours. Nothing sounds good though. Not tic tacs. Not steak and lobster. My therapist asked me what was up with the tic tacs. I told her I had been craving them. Idk why though. I went through a big container of berry ones, a big container of fruity ones, and like 4 normal size orange containers in the past couple weeks.

I cut out most sugar and have been eating healthier and exercising a lot. I went from 169 lbs down to 166 lbs so far in the past two weeks. Hoping to keep it up. Goal is to get back down to my original weight of 110 - 115 lbs. May take me about a year. I just need to be patient and stay consistent.

I weighed myself today and at first I was 156. Down 3 pounds just from yesterday. I freaked out and thought to myself "you need to see a doctor if thats right" I stepped on the scale again and I was 157.4. Still not very good. I set the my fittness pal app to 2050 calories which is maintenice for me. My pdoc said he disagrees with my therapist and I am not too thin, my weight is perfect accorrding to the BMI and its perfectly fine to be on the slender side. He did say he doesn't want me to lose anymore. I'm not always in control since I lose my appetite a lot because of meds and other things I'm trying to figure out. If I can actually eat dinner I'll be at 1,992 calories. Currently I'm pretty queasy from the heat and some motion sickness.

I had a much needed cheat day yesterday. Today I'm back to my normal eating which is kinda restricting but not on purpose. I had a protein shake, a grande pumpkin spice latte, a fruit and cheese protein box, some plant based eggs, and an apple sauce. I'm around 1200 calories which is pretty bad and I feel weird right now and I don't know if its from the lack of food or the heat or what. But I'm really not hungry.

I was 158.8 today. I'm suprised I wasn't 161 after my cheat day. Idk whats going on to be honest. My mom joked and asked if a gypsy put a curse on me. Like from the Stephen King book Thinner where the guy loses weight without trying. I am a bit concerned something is wrong especially since I feel so runned down today, but theres nothing I can do on a Saturday. I ate a couple plant based eggs and some apple sauce and a tall apple crisp machiato and some tic tacs. I'm currently at 720 calories and no clue on what I'll eat for the rest of the day.

I ate some instant ramen so I'm at 1090 calories, but according to what my therapist has worked out I need to eat 960 more calories which I physically am unable to do. So I guess we'll just see what happens. I'm going to get some desserts from the grocery store. Some pies and stuff. Maybe if I can't eat throughout the day I can at least eat higher calorie foods to meet my goal.

I ended up drinking a protein shake then eating a decent size boiled red potato last night. I weighed myself this morning and I was 158.6. Idk. My mom doesn't know either. I didn't even get out of bed yesterday. I am still feeling runned down today but I've been getting things done around the house. This morning I ate a container of banana pudding and drank an Arizona drink before 2AM. Then I finished off the apple sauce and had a mini Coke at 7AM. Lunch was a protein shake and a cup of instant mashed potatos. I had another Coke half an hour ago. I plan on having an apple sauce and a protein drink for dinner. Currently with all that I am at 1570 calories with 480 left. I haven't eaten dinner yet and I'm not too hungry for it but I could sleep for 12 hours. Maybe my therapist just won't notice although she did last time and last time I was 159.4

The cookie cake and pumpkin pie have remained untouched.

I needed to eat 1,840 calories yesterday just to maintain my stupid weight. It was a lot. Today I've had 988 calories after I drink an iced coffee and I'm not sure what else I'll eat. I have some soup from the freezer thawing. It may just be a 1300 calorie day. Idk.

I weigh about 169 lb and am only 5'2" so in the obese range. Actually, it doesn't show at all in my face or upper body, just belly and below. So maybe I should get maternity clothes...

Breakfast today was oatmeal with rehydrated riced cauliflower (savory!), a fruit cup, and coffee.

This could be a permanent breakfast, alternating savory and fruity (blueberry, strawberry).

Lunch - probably something hearty and saucy, like sloppy joe over palmini?

Dinner - tuna salad with wasa.
