I have been searching for a solid mental health platform for a long time. It was years before I found one that finally saw tangible results with.

Does anyone else struggle with finding the right tools to be happy?

I absolutely struggle with finding the right tools to be happy sometimes. It's not easy, is it?

I find that sometimes I feel like I’m walking on shifting sands. I can find the right tools for a period of time and then it’s as though I wake up one morning and find something different about my mental health state (or at least I perceive it as different when it probably isn’t) that sends me sliding back into anxiety and depression.

Can’t you define “mental health platform” a bit more, please? Do you mean the tools or support techniques you use yourself to stay healthy and stable, or are you referring to a specific online support app or support area online?

Best wishes,

I thought I found a great Dr last year and he liked me and said he wanted to help but he almost killed me several times, lied about all meds, ignored me and I complained now I'm banned from all practices around here. And he was one of the better Drs I've seen last 40 years! I've been treated much, much worse! You wouldn't believe the abuse I've taken in all hospitals last 40 years

I’ve definitely been there. It took me a while to find anything that felt really helpful. I tried a bunch of different things—apps, journaling, therapy, and even just focusing on small daily habits. It wasn’t until I started a more consistent mindfulness routine that I noticed a difference. Honestly, I think it’s just about experimenting and finding what clicks for you. It can take time, but eventually, you’ll land on something that helps.

I don't know what a "mental health platform" is.

This answer assumes that it's "methods of elevating mood."

My pursuit of happiness started officially after reading about the work of Yale Professor Laurie Santos and her course on happiness. I highly recommend it!

I struggled with SAD -- each November I wondered if I would make it thru to January.

I finally got medical intervention, starting with a cognitive assessment, then an antidepressant and CBT.

I put together a list of happiness remedies; I think they're on my website.

Having tweaked my medication in Aug, this autumn was the first in a long time that I didn't feel completely hopeless.
