Yes, smiling and laughing are so healing. I'm lucky that my T is easy to laugh with and we genuinely connect and enjoy the comic parts to my story. It feels good and I tell her that.

A Polar Bear walked into a bar and squares up to the barman. "Give me a whisky and coke ............ and some peanuts," said the Polar Bear, in a gruff voice.

To which the bartender replied, "Why the big pause?''

"Why, I don't know, really," said the Polar Bear, looking down thoughtfully. "I've always had them."

A guy goes to a psychiatrist. "Doc, I keep having these alternating recurring dreams. First I'm a teepee; then I'm a wigwam; then I'm a teepee; then I'm a wigwam. It's driving me crazy. What's wrong with me?" The doctor replies: "It's very simple. You're two tents."

Okay, so weird, my very serious psychiatrist told me this joke when I was an adolescent. He never even cracked a smile normally, but when he told this joke he was laughing hysterically and continued giggling for the entire session. This is cracking me up now because I haven't thought about that episode in like 20 years....

BTW - that's me laughing at doc

LOL! I'm literally cracking up! Mine would probably do the same. What is it about psychiatrists and puns?

A man went into his shrink's office and said, "You have got to help me! Every night I keep dreaming that I'm a sports car. The other night I dreamed I was a Trans Am. Another night I dreamed I was an Alpha Romero. Last night I dreamed I was a Porsche. What does this mean?"

"Relax," said the therapist. "You're just having an auto-body experience."

A pirate walks into a bar with a ship's wheel attached to the front of his pants.

The bartender looks up and asks, "What's that?"

The pirate answers, "Yar, I don't know, but it be drivin' me nuts!"

(Too much?)
