Today I will tell myself that although my friend passed away this morning after a long, (very courageous) battle with cancer, he is with angels and at peace. God bless.

Today I have told myself- I will not be another person's punching bag or at least whipping thing for their negative things, to just shut down my suggestions and positive things. No one knows except a few people of how much of a big step this is for me from this certain person to tell them: "I have to go", rather than hanging on the phone on every word they say to just beat me up verbally with eventually tearing me down as all conversations do when they are in this sort of mood.-- I just simply aint taking it today.

Today I will tell myself... I am not in a country where war and blood is seen daily on the streets. I am going to stop worrying about every little thing and focus on enjoying the company of those gathering to celebrate my graduation. Today I will tell myself I am more important than I give myself credit for.
Oh geez... cut the anthem playing in the background and take down the flag.. I don't think I can do that last part.

Today I will tell myself to verify a shift for the next day before I leave at the end of this shift. I thought I had to be at work for 8 am to 2 pm and when I showed up, it turns out I do not work until 4:30 pm lol.
